Oh I'm sure I wouldn't mind doing some reading. ;)

And yeah, trying to stay warm is right. Gah. I only have dressy skirts, no pants, so every Thursday I wear a skirt. Oi

LOL.... no one wants to read that my book!! :D It would be filled with mindless ramblings that go nowhere and misspelled words plus bad grammer. :D

Nice... Dressy skirts are great to keep warm with. I played paintball with a guy in OK that always played in a kilt. I almost tried it but it was to cold out.
Good luck staying warm TODAY!!! [face_coffee] :D

So, the latest email from Star wars asks "Were you in line in '99?" in regards to The Phantom Menace.

Then it hits me, Phantom Menace will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! Holy crap I feel old.

Whatever whenever, (and almost wherever - can't leave the continent!)I'm there!

    *is newbie*

I just wanted to drop in and say Hi! I will be moving up (well, back up to) Michigan in April and I think that y'all are my closest fanforce. Not sure if the group is active or not, but if you are, I would like to join up. :) Will someone please fill me in on any details. Thanks!

    Welcome friend....
It's really died down in here over the last few years.
I sent Stiger a pm she is the woman in charge around the GRFF area. I'm sure she'll be getting ahold of you. ;)

As stated by Count_Scoobith the group has died down in the past years, but we do go to charity events that is being done by the 501st and Rebel Legion. We see each other at these events and we help out a good charity. I have posted the Griffin's Star Wars night for others to see what we do. We are always looking for non-costume support people for these events which could lead to a Star Wars costume.

Thanks to you both for your information. :) I will probably be looking to do costumed events (I am a TIE Pilot with the 501st...which reminds me, I need to change garrisons!) but don't always like to don the armor. My brother (who is in the area) also cosplay's but he is a Rebel (he has an amazing Old Ben outfit) so we would both probably join in. I won't be back up there in time for the Griffins event, but will keep watch on things after that where I could be involved. :)

    Very cool NyghtFyre,
I hope to meet you at an event some time.
I hate to put this one stiger1 but if you have any questions she is will point you in the right direction for sure. :)

Hey BS, well it seems the coldness isn't so much the problem anymore, now you have to try to stay dry. :)

    I am -

I'm watching TPM - NOW - on MTV and realizing there's a whole bunch of Lucas truth in the dialogue from Qui Gon's "Perhaps I killed a Jedi" (answering Anakin's statement, not query that he is a Jedi based on his "laser sword") all the way up to Anakin soothing Shmi's worries - with "the problem is that no one helps each other" (quoting his mom's own words for further truth)- Shmi: "I may not agree -...but he was MEANT to help you."

    Love Lucas - hell yah

and I think the Tatooine scenes are HUGE! Major....saga forming huge. Anakin. Ankakin meet Padmé. We learn that Anakin created C3PO. Shmi - MAJOR, HUGE DAMN IT - why can't everyone else see that this is the key? and Anakin needs a father just like Luke did.

It is interesting how it connects together, once you know it all.
    Although stuff like Anakain making C3PO was a little too coincidental for me. ]-}

    Happy June, everyone!
