Same term applies. Modern epaulats have rank on them. In Napoleonic times, epaulats looked exactly like those on a GA's uniform(though perhaps more grandiose, and not always gold).

I like to think that I have the same problem. I use my brains for memorizing sci-fi stuff instead of school work. Thats why I don't get the grades I should. My parents have been telling me this for a long time, but I never listened. Its to late now, I'm in to deep :) .

I'm not sure if it was you...or someone else who gave me a link a while back to a good costume site. Does anyone have any links.

BTW - thanks for that URL. If it comes down to it, then I guess I'll just have to make one.

It's his universe, be thankful he allows us to play in it as much as he does.

Funny you all should mention that.'Ol George is going to let a few companies start making props to sell to the public.Trouble is,that it takes a LOT of money to buy a licensing fee from a studio.Hence, the products are VERY expenisve. That's why things like the DP Trooper statue go for like 4000.You can still get trooper/biker/tie pilot, etc armor on the web,it's just very low key now.
If you're looking for armor, start hanging out at the 501st boards,or one of the prop boards and get to know the people.Once they feel comfortable around you, things like buying armor aren't that hard to do.
For the person that wanted to know about Tie Pilot armor, check out this link and look under the costume section.
    Take care,
    TK1762
