I've booked one twin room at PTI Deansgate Lock, Fri 9th - Sun 11th
£120 altogether

I'm guessing that there wont be any space to crash on the floor?

 

Well, I'm happy for us to share, as long as people don't mind being on the floor!
So far, there'd be me, Sie, Leigh, Ogli and Coz sharing....not sure what Tim's doing...?

 

If there's room on the floor I'm happy to sleep there. Not sure what Tim's planing on doing, if he is staying over in Manchester I'll ask if he wants to share a room with me.

 

I guess if we have two rooms between us, that'd be three in each room, making it £40 each, so not bad really.

 

Would be better. Though I think me, Tim and who ever might have to fight over the beds

 

Well, if I'm in the room with the ladies, then I will gallantly give them the bed space and kip on the floor.

If I'm stuck with the gents, then CR shotgun comes into effect!!!

I think it's slowly time to think about what to do on the weekend
any suggestions? and who will when arrive!?

 

Well, there will be 3 of us from the NE arriving Fri night (and I'm guessing Tim & Coz too).

I don't mind what we do really....shopping...any good galleries/museums/exhibitions...???

 

Was looking for sci-fi shops in Manc and came across this list. Not sure how up-to-date it is, but thought I'd post it anyway:

?MAGMA on Oldham Street. Sells cool arty books, obscure magazines, one-off t shirts.
?Loads on Tibb St and Oldham St
?Round the back of Victoria Station. LOADS of comix shops.
?Lever St near Max Spielman, there is a magazine/book shop with tons of things in it (and memorabilia).
?Look in the coliseum to indulge your geeky pleasures of sci-fi and comics.
?Occult book shop at the end of tib st called New Aeon Books veggie coffee shop as well.
?FORBIDDEN PLANET on Oldham St. is the mainstream comic place
more second hand stuff and books in the Coliseum near Affleck?s and at the EMPIRE EXCHANGE off Oxford Rd. by the BBC.
?Odyssey 7, University Precinct, Oxford Rd
