Seems like we should have a thread for when people die. I know, it's morbid. But organization is key!

    I'll kick things off:

    RIP Corey Haim

You know how they always say these things go in threes. First Andrew Koenig, now Corey Haim. Who's next? Although some are saying Haim was the third (after Marie Osmond's son). Sad, all the way around.

That is sad. He was one of the greatest defensive linemen ever to play in the NFL. A true legend on and off the field.

Perhaps this thread could be re-titled,

    The 2010 RIP Thread,

then at the end of the year we have a list for this year,

then on to the 2011 thread..........

my reflections on last year were that it was way too large a list.
and that in January of this year as I tried to look for a
list of RIP for 2009, none of them were even close to being complete,
    or comprehensive.

I think we stand a better chance of a best remembered list of RIP.

    ok, that's my two cents[face_coffee]

    Daddy, age 16,

    American Pit Bull Terrier,

appeared with owner Cesar Millan in Dog Whisperer, (a much watched TV show in our house)

    euthanized due to cancer.

And he was a star, for years we would watch the most vicious dogs,
go into totally confused mode when Daddy was around,

we even became sleepy and content just watching him on TV.

    This passing was Feb. 19.

It's pretty sad that whenever I see on the news that someone died, I think about posting it here... But then by the morning I forget their name.

ok, these are sites I will use.

however, I still think the SBFF, will have a more complete list if we can keep this thread up to date.

    These sites always miss someone.

Most missed the passing of ERICH KUNZEL last year.

    ALSO,

thanks to the sites above........The original leader of this IMF
was found to still be alive.......The Actor who played Mr. Briggs,
and who was also my favorite in that role.

    Robert Culp & Bill Cosby

    as

    Kelly Robinson & Alexander Scott

displayed a great air of kinda being irreverent
as ISPY imho help to build better race relations for all.

here is a fun quote from the show.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kelly Robinson: Don't you ever bring a silencer?
Alexander Scott: Ruins the line of my suit.
    Kelly Robinson: Mine too.

While not really a celebrity, I know who he is even though we've never met. I like in the story how it says his death was announced by Edward James Olmos. I'm tempted to watch Stand and Deliver again just to see if it is dated now.
