TC sighed in dismay and then said,

"Huh, I had heard about a group of brothers that had succeeded in something big, something that seemed to hit Vorga kinda hard. Those guys are probably are going to be in some deep trouble." TC was trying to ensure that he didn't let on that he was a bounty hunter, but felt the need to push the conversation. He knew that the presence of Vorga's men was that they also had tracked the brothers' last location to this cantina.

Skathyn grinned mischieveously as he heard the two bodygaurds discussing him. Skathyn made his way quickly into the merchants office and looked about.

Rita responded distractedly to the protocol droid.

"Uh, one, I think..." She was trying to spot the contact, but the entire cantina was packed and she could barely see anyone she would be able to recognize.

Biography
---Personal History: Ryce was born to traders on Amara. There she would be raised as a pilot and would end up in many parties. She didn?t remain on Amara for long, as her parents deemed her flyable at age 6, and left to return to business. At age 18 Ryce finally got her first ship, which was previously customized to standards that would suit Ryce. Ryce decided to become a smuggler, as she felt she fit the role, but made sure she had time on the side for racing, as she always found it fun. Present day Ryce is still single, and is now known as an experienced smuggler, despite never working for Hutts

Ryce grinned happily as she approached the Coruscant-like moon. She had finished a delivery of supplies to a planet in desperate need for them, and was payed hansomly by her employer, so now she figured she'd come to Nar Shaddaa to have some fun and possibly get some sort of job from Ganthia, as Ryce more or less perfered taking jobs from the Bothan loan shark. As Ryce began her descent she saw that her com unit was flashing. Turning it on to hear a bored voice of an Aleena.

"Welcome to Nar Shaddaa, the unofficial underworld capital of the galaxy. You may land In docking bay 3 of terminal zero-four-zero, quadrant A, please have a great time here..." Ryce guided her ship towards the given co-ordinates, happy that she was back, and hoping that the next few days would be enjoyable.

The lift tube opened and it was empty within. Kadran, R2C2 , Sin'teksa, and Deuce entered it ready for whatever faced them on floor 37. Kadran crossed his arms, sighed and nervously tapped his right hand on his left arm. R2 whirred an encouraging sound; Kadran smiled and patted his pal. Deuce stood there silent and stoic. Sin'teksa bit down on her bottom lip and pondered on the man in her vision, trying to recall additional details, feeling frustration that there was nothing else coming to her.

Floor 37 Entertainment District

Laro smirked. "Hmm, haven't had any trouble here, but Vorga security has tightened up considerably since yesterday. I was told to alert Vorga officials of any strange sightings, in particular a group of Gran traveling together. Wasn't told why just to alert Vorga's people. Odd as nothing short of a spice factory explosion should phase Vorga. Anything less would be insulting but not impacting to him. After all even a hundred thousand credits of theft is meaningless to a trillionaire. If there is a local bounty out there I am sure it's just to keep the locals in line. No major news has come across the holovids though. Just normal local theft and burglary".

"May I help you?", said a Toydarian with a red cybernetic eye in a yellow Vorga uniform. He was hovering behind a desk his wings fluttering. Two guards one a Barabel the other a Nikto were each armed with heavy blaster rifles guarding the left and right side of the room respectively. Their eyes rested on the Jawa as it made its way into the belly of the room.

OOC: There is no way to get to the Ithorian's goods. He has a well guarded cart with items that are impossible to get to. The more practical alternative is to go into the only office which is the main administration office. Not sure what your plan was just letting you know the limits. Mmart23

The silver protocol droid continued, "Are you here to dine or just to drink? There are seats at the bar, however, if you want to get a good view of the band and their acclaimed vocalist you will want to take a table in the center", she finished in a soothing voice. The smooth, skillful play of the Bith instrument musicians and the enchanting bellowing of the Twi'Lek siren, tender, otherworldly, like a lullaby, penetrated into the lobby.

"Thanks Laro, hey, if you see them let me know." TC said as he tossed Laro a small datapad containing contact information. TC was displeased at the lack of information, but figured that he wasn't trying hard enough. TC figured that seen as Arleyo gave him the bounty, he may as well check if he knew anymore. TC was now leaning against a wall not twenty meters away from Laro's Lagoon, and turned on his comlink to contact Arleyo.

"Hope he knows more, I'm starting to run on loose ends..."

Skathyn replied in faked high-pitched hoarse voice,

"Looking to set up a shop. I need an income, and I figured selling parts'd be a good way...and I don't do reais though, I hate the reputation of shoddy repair, so I figure I'll avoid repairs all around..." He wasn't feeling all to comfortable trying to make himself seem more Jawa-like, and hoped he'd be able to pass off well enough. He looked about using the HUD, hoping to get a rough idea of where everyone was at the moment. Under the hood his expression was a grin, mainly because he knew that he had the element of suprise.

"Probably to drink, I'm supposed to be meeting someone here." Rita responded, keeping her antenna-palps hidden, resenting the reputation of her species. She made her way over to a table in the center, glancing about to see if the contact was in obvious sight. With no luck she sighed, and turned to face the band, listening to the music as she waited for a server.

"Well feel free to look around. There are plenty here tonight to meet. It's a crowded house", the droid said intuitively. From the vantage point of Rita's table, the Gand fixer she was to meet was just out of her sight as his table was to the left of a quartet of Wookiees. Knowing it would be hard for her to hear his Com Link summons over the musicians and their fantastic singer, Vool Droshkaa decided to wait. The band played on, and the server returned and asked, "What can I get you to drink?"

"So you'll need a cart and a license to sell. You can rent a cart for one hundred twenty five credits per week. The license will be another one hundred twenty five credits. If you don't have the money now we can loan it to you at fifteen percent interest", the Toydarian said cupping his hands with a devilish grin. The empty cart and the license would be a start for Skathyn but he'd have to buy or steal goods from a supplier to have something to sell.

Laro's Lagoon

Laro nodded and went about his business.

On level 27, in a rented three level building, Areleyo sat at his desk in the midst of organizing the data of his spynet, ensuring that word could be given out to the proper channels of potential jobs. He was small time at the present but was fast building his power and influence in A23. His hope was to someday attain the power and prestige of Ganthia of Quadrant A21.

Within twenty seconds Arleyo answered the frequency, "What is it TC?", the ever impatient Bothan said with a tinge of annoyance in his voice.

OOC: Ganthia is in Quadrant A21, not Quadrant A23. Each quadrant contains over 100 spires and over a billion sentients. So for TC to travel to A23 took him about fifteen minutes fighting in lane traffic after visiting Hellva prior to the Traitor's Noose posts. Thus, if Ryce lands in docking bay 3 of terminal zero-four-zero in Quadrant A23 she will need to travel to Quadrant A21 a neighboring zone in order to find Ganthia. My suggestion is that instead of seeking out Ganthia that Ryce consider moving spice for Vorga instead. It's up to you though. I just want to make it clear the difference between Quadrant A21 and A23.

As the craft docked, it was approached by a Zabrak male in a red uniform, marking the brand of Hellva the Hutt. This was Hellva's quadrant, his one and only quadrant as Vorga offered it as a family gift to his grossly less powerful relative. Still, where Vorga was a trillionaire, Hellva was a multi-millionaire and still very powerful to the general populace. The Zabrak stood there with a data pad in hand ready to register the ship. Spread throughout the bay were over a hundred sentients in red uniforms serving respectively as technical managers, mechanics, and administrators.

IC: Kagen walked into the lift tube taking one pronounced step after the next. Within two of these movements he was inside the lift tube. He pressed the thirty seven button and stepped back as it aptly shut. He arched a brow as he felt a strange feeling in his gut. Something seemed amiss. He reached inside his brown duster, placed his hand on his heavy blaster holster, upsnapped it and took the DL44 into his right hand lifting it up his elbow bent, forearm extended. Kagen then looked to each of his team members one at a time. "Be ready folks. I've got a sinking feeling that this is a set up". The tube descended to floor thirty-seven and swiftly opened.

Lash Vane, the blue fleshed, red eyed Duro female bounty hunter stood three feet from lift tube K, her blaster set on stun eager to claim her bounty. Her associates, Weequay mercenary Heji Offath, and the black-furred blue eyed Wookiee Gathayatha stood at the ready their blaster rifles set to stun, pointing at the tube. The door opened and shots began to fire into the tube. Kadran lifts his gun to fire back but is stunned and falls to the ground before he can get a shot off. R2 whirs in confusion.

IC: Kagen's eyes widened in an instant as the blaster fire erupted. "What the?!?", he began trying to scroll through his memories to try to recall who these thugs were and who they worked for. Wanting to make this swift, he aimed his DL 44 and fired a shot at each of the attackers, hoping at least one of the shots would stick. He took note of Kadran falling to the ground, that he was stunned and not killed. He wanted to warn his crew that Kadran was only stunned but knew it was too late. The firefight had begun.

The Weequay, Heji Offath staggered in pain, dropping his rifle as Kagen?s first shot connected just below his shoulder armor scorching his right arm. Lash dodged Kagen?s second shot by an inch, her face nearly lost by its potential impact. Kagen?s 3rd shot at Gathayatha went completely wide.

Simultaneously, Sin?teksa was stunned by Lash?s shot and reached for Kagen as she fell unconscious to the ground. Deuce let out a war cry as he unloaded choice laserblasts at the Wookiee realizing it was up to him to defeat the mammoth foe. To his detriment the Wookie returned fire hitting him square in the torso a few times in turn. Both fell to the ground from their wounds, a pool of blood forming beneath them both.

As Heji bent down to grab his rifle with his left hand R2 zapped it with electricity, causing the Weequay to winch in pain. He held the scarred hand, staring at it, writhing in agony as he crouched down, retired from his will to fight. Lash rolled her eyes and said, "Must I do everything myself", in her thick accent, unphased by her injured associates as they were mere tools to her. She dead-eyed Mira, finger pulling on the trigger, aiming to hit the Wolatarian square in the chest.

IC ~ Skathyn

Skathyn looked disapprovingly at the toydarian, though the winged being didn't know it. Skathyn knew that he wasn't like his father repair wise, but when it came to salvage, that was something Skathyn knew he could do, so the best thing for him was to check repair shop and dealership scrap piles, other than that he'd have to get one of his father's contacts to ship weapons and parts for a cheap fee.

"Here are the credits." Skathyn replies grudgingly, handing the Toydarian a datachip. He didn't feel that the price was reasonable, expecially as his dad had commented on the fees of owning an actual store on both Tatooine and coruscant, it was barely more than a cart here.

TC grinned at the Bothan's impatience, and without any pleasent introductions he began,

"Well, the lead at Laro's lagoon was dead, if anyone knew anything on the Gran they weren't saying anything, and Vorga's men were al over the place, obviously scoping out if the fools made their way back to the cantina, if you can call it that. If you have anymore information on where they might be, it'd be good to have it, seen as I'm going for the maximum reward, and try to think how much you'd get out of that." TC knew that the one thing that seemed to motivate his Bothan contact was the prospect of a substantial income, and in this case that was a fair 1k easy, that was, of course, if TC could find them and the spice.

OOC ~ Ryce has a reputation for not doing work for Hutts, in the attempts to prove that a smuggler can be completely successful in such an ocasion, and therefore she plans on seeing Gathia the following day.

Ryce gave the Zabrak the ship information, and the pay to keep it there. She knew she hadn't made it to the proper quadrant to deal with Ganthia, and knew that, despite a Hutt happily willing to pay for spice smuggling, Ryce had a reputation to uphold, a reputation of not dealing with Hutts, especially due to their less than pleasent ways. But for today she felt that it was better to celebrate a job well done, and began searching for a good enough Cantina. She felt that business was always to wait, as pleasure was to be found first, as was her way of life.

Rita found herself aggrevated with the fact that she couldn't pick oit the contact, and arose from her seat. She began walking to the bar and sat down quickly. She looked about in dismay finding that she was further from the music, but unsure from her contact.

?Good! Very Good Outlander?, the Toydarian said with glee as it took the datachip eager for the credit earnings. The Toydarian handed a remote control to Skathyn and said, ?You?ll need this to control the cart?. He then pressed a button and a bipedal service droid, an old beige Trade Federation brand droid, rolled the hovering cart out of storage for Skathyn?s use. ?Just remember to keep up with your payments. Miss a single one and we?ll come looking for you. And it won?t be pretty?, it said with devilish laughter.

?Ah TC, I expected more from you. I thought you were the best around. It?ll cost you a higher cut for me to get more involved. I am sure you know this though. Have you checked with the local docking authorities to make sure they have not left world. Local docking authorities will tell you anything you want to know for a price. If you had access to their video surveillance cameras you would at least know for sure instead of wasting cash finding scum that are long gone?. Arleyo replied frankly.
