I don't see much of a difference between tribal warlord's rule and taking 'protection money' versus democratically elected governments ruling your life and taking 'taxes'.

That is an example of a statement which amounts to nonsense. In fact, it makes so little sense, that I see no point in arguing against it myself, for the sole reason that I have 3 hours before my next class, have nothing to do, but would rather not spend that time trying to prove the sky is blue. Most of your statements and views are like that - they are generalised, unsubstantiated, and so far away from mainstream that it makes most free-market liberals look like hard-core socialists. In fact, you are not different from a socialist, in the sense that your ideas are unworkable, are based on a worldview and assumptions about human nature that is flawed, and can only exist on paper.

Theft is theft. It doesn't matter how you rationalise it, it is theft. Theft means stealing other people's property. When it is backed up by violence and/or intimidation it is called robbery.

It doesn't matter who commits the theft. It could be the fundamentalist Taliban, the Liberal government, the Nazis, ancient warlords, a poor man stealing to feed his family or the Queen of England. IT IS CALLED THEFT!

Theft = theft.

The only thing is, some thieves are worse then others. But that still doesn't make the theives right, and me wrong.

A chair is only a chair because it is culturally constructed to be a chair. You only know it was a chair because you have been brought up to believe it is a chair...
