Yep, dead. There have been no posts for over two hours. And god knows there may be no posts for another two hours after this... [face_plain]

No, I work again tonight. Shouldn't be too bad, I think I'll be making onion rings all night.

I think I'll take Wednesday night off, and Saturday night for sure cause I'm visiting the girlfriend :D

that's cool, are you starting to get used to the night shift?

EDIT: yeah Kerryn, tell me about it, sunday is my long shift. my job isn't that bad, but it's not like there isn't anything i'd rather be doing.

well those are some good bonuses. i think the only drawback to working nights for me would be that i would also have to be nocturnal on my days off, and there wouldn't be anything to do.

you'll have to get your girlfriend on the same schedule ;)

My flatmate and I decided last night to go to England in April/May next year, work menial jobs in a pub and just live somewhere else for a while. Now I've just got to pay off my credit card and save some money.

Well, the planning is there. But I'm so sick of 9-5ing it (I'm only 23 for god's sake!) I want to travel and experience other places.

    Hi everyone!

I've been to England a couple of times, naturally. I know London better than Amsterdam, I think. And I've been to Liverpool, Cambridge, Manchester (where my brother's girlfriend used to live), and Dover.

    I love England.

I guess we have a different system in Australia. The government pays for your university fees and then you have to pay the government back. It's called HECS (Higher Education Contribution Scheme). The good thing about it is if you earn under a certain amount ($25000 per year or something) you don't have to pay it back. It comes out of your pay each week (about 3-5% of your income), so you gradually pay it back.

Hi, Tom. Not much happening here. I did manage to nearly finish the work that had been piling up.

I haven't got any loans, by the way. A lot of people I know, do. Must be a nuisance.
