FF:WA Tony Daniels in Melb in 7 weeks/Raiders selling fast

Hi Everyone ,my name is Justin Dix, I am the director of Bounty Trail, and I had the pleasure last year of working with Anthony Daniels on EP2, for all of you who do not know he will be making his first Australian con. visit in Melb at Multiverse 4, the long weekend of June 8th. he has been e-mailing me and is very excited about meeting his aussie fans. He will be also attending the Raiders 20th anniversary banquet,with Virginia Haye and Brian Thompson from the x-files. For those who want to attend the Banquet ,tickets are selling fast and will not be available at the con, they are down to 46 left, it will be an awesome night , I , with my team will be constructing the themeing for the evening, we have also begun the lightshow and the entertainment for the evening. you can check out progress at the multiverse 4 site. I have noticed you have alot of posts and it would be great if you could join us in June and giving Anthony a great Australian SW fan reception. He was the hit of Denver Con and has assured me he will not let you guys down, he has a little suprise for all of us at the banquet. Cant wait myself. I(can only speak for myself) would love to attend the event but the cost of air-travel etc is to high. However I wish you and your team the best, and I hope Mr Daniels has a great time.

 

You could consider bus, abit uncomfortable ,but cheaper. It will be a great con , and Tony is a great showman.

By bus Sydney is around 4 days, so I assume Vic would be 3 approx, that's a rotten way to travel.....

i know Melbourne is a long way from you but can you think of a better way to spend your long weekend in cold june winter than doing Star Wars stuff.

Multiverse does take credit cards so you can pay the convention off and with the problems with Ansett in the past few weeks i dare say you could get fairly good airfares.

Winter in Perth is not like other States, it's quite nice in the temp range. Airfare still costs(hundreds of dollars), on credit card??? that's a bit silly, interest rate would kill.

Sometimes I think that people just do not understand that's it's cheaper to go overseas to Asia than to visit the rest of our country.

It would be great to attend but time and cost plays a huge part in anything us Sandgropers do.
