On a star farm, life begins for the embryonic little stars once they are cloned from the star host, and put into a empty mayonnaise jars filled with clear karo syrup.

 

i like my stars farmed organicly, none of this cloning crap. all natural, baby!

Stars are awarded on number of posts. Some message boards show them on the main page. This one does not. On other boards, stars are used to show who is a veteran poster, and who is not- sort of like a validity thing if someone doesn't know you. It's really not that big of a deal since we're such a small community, and it's so hard to see the stars anyway.

 

Once the star embryos are placed in syrup, they are sealed in their jars until they split into two stars. At this point they are shipped off of Kaminoa to a Star Hatchery on Nal Hutta, a world where they can grow and develop in their nurturing Karo Syrup slime without causing disgust among the populace.
