June 20th - 22nd

More info. to come - This is the biggest Con to go to for comics, artists, costumes, toys, games and collectibles in this area at this time of the year.



MonstoreCon '08
October 4th - 5th

More info. to come - This is the second annual con for these guys and this year it will be held at the Cabarrus Events Center with comics, collectibles, games, art and live music not to mention a masquerade party.

 

I have never been to a convention like that. Sounds fun! MIght have to put that on my agenda. Why not see if we can get our group together and go. Extra chance to hang out. Hardly ever see anyone any more.

 

THE IR GROUP WILL GO TO HEROES CON and individual members will most likely go to Monster Con (Tough weekend though with Annual Rowan County Event).

 

J and I will definietly be going to Heroes in costume at least one of the days!

OK, guys. We are getting to close to that convention coming up in a couple of weeks. Are we still planning on going as a group? I haven't heard anything in about a month or so.

 

I am still planning on going if rip is.

 

I'm going - ALWAYS PLANNED ON IT (Will see if son's friends want to go as well). J says that if others are not going in costume then he won't BUT WE ARE BOTH GOING TO THE CON no matter what!

 

I would love to go. It is all going to depend on my wife's work schedule and all. My friend at work, Jason, aka "The Rock" from the old IR boards is going with his girlfrienf. He is even taking a day off from work to get his comics ready to go. Heck, it might even get me out of yardwork for one weekend.

RenFaire. Wonder if Darth MacDuff could make an appearance? If not, I still have my Rennie outfit.

 

We will dress up in RenFair costumes as always... We hope you can come and wear your KILT! (No vader unless it's halloween weekend - then vader and kilt)!

 

I have the whole outfit for RenFaire. I have my kilt, Highlander shirt, belt, sporran, bonnet, vest, moccassin boots, and a nice choice of swords!
