    Hi all!

I just wanted to send out some information about our upcoming events.

    Pizza/Movie Night:
On Friday, June 22, 2001, we will be meeting at Leo's Place on the
corner of 1st and Holmes in Idaho Falls for Pizza and Burgers at
5:00pm. When we are done eating, those who want to are invited to
proceed to the Edwards Theatre to see "Tomb Raider". Critics are
saying that it's the best movie of this style since Indiana Jones, so
it should be good. This will be a "dutch treat" night (everyone pays
for their own). If you need more info, you can contact me at
    jedi5150@fanforce.net, jedi5150@idahofallsstarwars.org

    Roleplaying:
Don't forget about Ben Fox's invitation to play the Star Wars
roleplaying game with his group. I've spoken to Ben on the phone and
am in the process of setting up a meeting with him. He seems very
cool, and knows a lot about the RPG. If you've wondered what the RPG
is all about, this is a good opportunity to find out. You can
    contact Ben at ebolam@ida.net

    Book Discussion Group:
Remember that Erik set up the book discussion group at Barnes and
Noble. The first meeting will be at Barnes and Noble on July 11,
2001 at 7:00pm. We will be discussing "Cloak of Deception", a new
book that takes place just before Episode I. I'm about 1/2 way
through it and it is very interesting. If you would like more info
about the book discussion group, email Erik at
    gungan@idahofallsstarwars.org

    Summer Barbecue:
We are currently making plans for the summer barbecue. Right now it
looks like sometime the 3rd week of July. If anyone has a date/time
    preference, let me know.

Don't forget: Although it's only June, it's never too early to start
thinking about our Christmas Toy Drive. If you're out and about,
have a little extra to spend, think about picking something up for
it. On a related note, Neil Nebeker suggested that we do a car wash
and donate the proceeds to charity. I think it's a great idea. If
anybody wants to volunteer to help or knows of a worthy charity,
    please let me know.

If you haven't voted on the poll as to which direction(s) you would
like to see the IFSWA move, remember to do so. It's at:
