Pittsburgh, PA Vader Project on March 14

Its official, the Vader Project is coming to the Warhol Feb 28 to May 3.

I'm in contact with the Warhol people and we might be able to do something with them in connection to the exhibit. If nothing else, I'm thinking maybe we could organize a 'fanforce' day, and encourage all the various FF to visit Pittsburgh and see the exhibit, and maybe have an informal get together.

What does everyone think?



EDIT: Saturday, March 14, SWAP is going to see the Vader Project. Meet outside the main entrance at 10 AM.

 

Sounds interesting. See if we can make it a costume day maybe?

why do we always do these things on days i'm supposed to play paintball?

Well, one thing is that my paintball friend is notorious for rescheduling.

plus thats the day my friend is shaving her head, but i dont think i was going to that anyway. my heart hurts enough as it is

Cool, my friends birthday Paintball thing is SUNDAY so I can go to the Warhol and not be made to feel incredibly guilty! YAYS!

So is this only SWAP, or are other fandoms being represented? And can we get Jaye to wear his Vader kit?

And whats the verdict on costumes? I don't want to be the only one.

Or at least bring a lightsaber so i won't feel so bad smacking you around with mine if you don't wear a costume...

 

Luminara won't be there. That's too much work to be there that early. But I think I can throw together a generic Jedi.

 

I had a fun day, seeing the Vader Helmets and the rest of the museum (or at least part of it). Then dinner at Fudrukers. Then a few of us went to see Taken.

Vader art, cookies, and Liam. A very good day.
