    I'm alive!!!!!!

I've been really sick this last week so I have not had the chance to post any pictures. I have not forgotten!!! It was a blast. Sorry none of you were able to make it down. We (The 501st) had a Jail and Bail for fundraising. People were able to donate money for somebody to spend 10 minutes in the jail. They were located and escorted to the jail by an officer and various trooper types. Everybody had a great time with it.

    Highlights of the weekend:
    - Fleeing Supergirl
    - Dancing Troopers
    - 'Raiding' a room full of 11 y/o girls that were there for a volleyball match (They won) on behalf of the mothers
    - Jail & Bail
    - Good times and hanging out

    Ahhh, Supergirl...

From the action report on the recent deployment of TB-3289; RE: Prisoner 00102445 (aka Super Girl).

Yes Sir, she TRIED to escape 2 times when we were arresting her. She was one of the first arrests, so we had not perfected a technique to not let them know who we were arresting until we had them surrounded yet. She made a direct run to the nearest ladies restroom as soon as she found out we were after her. Of course the Emperor is not known for his kindness to subordinates in letting prisoners escape, so I went after her at a full chase. I was able to track her down and catch her with her hand a mere 3" from the bathroom door handle. After I was able to subdue her, the rest of the deployment was able to catch up to me and we then escorted her back to the jail for processing. The second escape was even closer. As we were starting the paperwork to in-process her, she attempted another escape. These criminals should learn that the might of the Empire is long and hard when it comes to Rebel sympathizers and terrorists. This time, she caught everybody off guard and decided to use the nearby tables and other obstacles to her advantage since we had her out armed and armored. This tactic may have worked except I just got back from a recent deployment on Endor, where avoiding obstacles such as tree's is an everyday occurrence while on patrols. Wishing I had my speeder bike (One of her so-called 'powers' must be speed, as she was quite fast), I was able to vault OVER a few of the surrounding tables while avoiding the civilians and cornered her again where we were able to capture her for the final time. This time she was under a full contigent of troopers all with their blasters at the ready. I do have to say the shock on the civilians faces on seeing a trooper go over surrounding obstacles made it all worth while....

Somebody (Non-501st) got pictures of this actually and they showed me afterwards. I'm trying to see if I can track down copies.
