Everett, WA Washington Fan Force summer meet-up?

as discussed at our recent meetings, let's throw out ideas for a summer meetup as well as dates

I will go post invites on the other washington FF forums as well.
One idea already thrown out there was for Roslyn WA

Here are a few shots from when I went there in 2004. It?s a cute little town. Mostly known as the place where the TV show Northern Exposure was shot at. There are hotels motels, B&B?s and camping in the area as well.

I was looking at places "in the middle" and the best I can find is Wenatchee.
It is 2.5 hours from Seattle, Spokane, and Tri-Cities.
Camping is cheap in town, looks like they have decent restraunts to hang out at. Plus National Forest is right there, the Ohme Gardens, etc. Off I-90 too.
Just a thought.

Has anything been decided on where we will have it this year? Any new information?

 

This one did kinda fall by the wayside didn't it? I think everyone was just too busy with CIV planning, and I know my schedule for the summer is pretty full up already, the first weekend I have free is saturday and sunday July 7 and 8, and then the first 2 weekends in august, but that is it and they will most likely fill up with something soon if we don't pin something down.
I also have something going on in my life right now that will affect my entire future ability to make plans. I have been seeing someone, it is getting serious. We may end up living together before the summer is over, If I do the meetup thing, I would want him to come with, and so I need to know what his summer plans are before commiting to anything.

 

Yeah it did kind of die ... I am still up for such but July has some indoor football games we are supposed to cover but I don't remember which weekends they are ... I wish I could have gone to C4 but we are just now ending a sweeps period ...

 

well, it looks like I was wrong about the guy I was seeing, something happened and we are now broken up. I don't care to give the details, but suffice it to say that I do not think there is a snowballs chance in hell of us ever getting back again, so my ability to make plans is wide open.

I have the first and second weekend of July free (if we are meeting on saturday that is), and the first, third and last weekend in August free
