FF:NZ We should start a line for Attack of the Clones this month

Come on, it'll be funny. We could do it on Queen St in Auckland, outside The Force Entertainment Centre (where the IMAX and Hoyts cinemas are). TV3's Nightline would eat it up, and eventually we'll get international coverage like the Seattle guys. Forget about LotR, a SW line is the only thing that we need to put New Zealand on the map.

 

nah, i'll be in wellington, and i am starting a course in may which sounds very intensive, not sure if i will have time to queue damm it

I too will not see it at Queen St. I guess I have to see it an Manukau for sentimentalities sake, because that's where I saw all the SE's and TPM.

 

I think they're closing down that Manukau cinema, so you might not be able to see Episode III there.

The St Lukes Group company is planning to build big multi-screen cinema comlexes into a few more of their shopping centres, and I vaguely remember them going to close down their current Manukau cinema (after they've finished the new one).

 

No, they can't close it down! I saw my first movie ever there. And all those opening day memories for movies which turned out to be horrible . . . Batman and Robin for instance.

 

Buzz-Bumble, you mean Westfield? I wouldn't object to a new cinema opening at St Lukes.

Kitt, you *could* start a petition of some sort to stop them closing the Manukau cinema, at least until Ep 3 screens there. You and Raz would be both on the news!
