I was looking on the GNER site (or whatever it is) and you can either have the tickets sent or you can get them from Fastticket machines. I'd take the latter option.

Well I can't really force people to book or not book their tickets can I

I am however looking into alternative travel arraingements, With what trains are gonna cost I may be able to get a car laid on. May not be too much use for you two getting to lincoln, However may be able to pick you up and get you to the base, and then take us all to York the next day for a small fee.

Hiya guys, Just a quick post (on my break ) to say that I got my end date for camp, which is the 18th august so I will be back in the UK plenty of time for this meet. So is there room for one more? I wanna see all my lovely north friends after being away for so long. Can someone send me a PM with as many details as you know so I can try to organise some stuff while on my breaks etc? Thank you muchly

Nat, Maybe instead of sending your bill into the sky you can direct it across the ground thus creating direct routs for us between London, Lincoln and York. Problem solved

Hope I'm OK to join in this conversation. Stumbled across this forum whilst surfing, so thought I'd join up (I'm a bit new to all this forum malarkey!). I'm from lovely Newcastle and am a massive SW fan.

York any good? We are there this weekend and again in September
And the Manchester G-Mex is a big meet, at the Collectormania convention, we have a table for that show, courtesy of Showmasters.

 

Can't make it this weekend as I'm in London, but ta for the invite.
Newcastle will be a good starting point for me, so if you need any ideas for things to do, or any help with planning, give me a shout.

So far I believe they are mainly shopping and visiting the Golden Orbit fair. The NW people have a meet the same day, Southport Airshow, so the whole of the North will be out and about, which is cool.

The one thing that is guaranteed though is great weather - its scorching right now and is likely to last for some time apparently! Yipee!
