That's a great story (and well told). It's nice to hear that he actually cared enough about the fans experience to give them something unexpected.

I remember when we were in Disneyworld for a star wars weekend and (sorry Jack, I don't remember his name) the guy that played Chewie seemed really happy to be there waving to fans. Carrie Fisher on the other hand looked like she was ready to strangle another Hutt!

Great show on the part of Mr. Daniels...but he is ever a gentleman, from what i hear.

A certain "Tucson At-At driver stand in" actually witnessed something that disturbed me when he chatted with me about a c4 experience...' There was aparently a line to an event of some sort, and Mr Daniels walked past the line and was about to enter a door when a lady called out at him, "Who the hell do you think you are!!? You have to wait in live with the rest of us!! He responded in a kind voice, "I am c3po Human Cyborg relations" and she said "well im Darth Vader...now get youre (explitive) to the back of the line"...at that time security escorted Mr Daniels into the building and the crowd that witnessed the event "corrected"(nice way of saying it) the woman, that it actually was Mr. Anthony Daniels, C3po.. needless to say she had a bad day...

I cannot abide by rude people..she shouldnt have acted in such a way no matter who it was...let alone a Gentleman like that... SHAME ON YOU LADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might want to make sure you're sending them to the right username, cuz I'm not getting them.

Anyways, yes, I got it, and I also got it signed by the artist. I assume that that is what you would have wanted?

I can't begin to imagine how long it will take to put down all of my CIV experiences.. but I guess I should just start from day one and go from there... not sure what all everyone wants to hear.. would sure be easier if someone would just ask or tell me what parts they want to hear about and then I would just tell those parts.. otherwise it will take forever... for the moment my computer is not freezing.. which is a good thing..

I think all of us had totally different CIV experiences for certain. I spent most all of my time in the main hall area. I did not ever see the Vader Helment exhibit, or the archive room or the R2 builders room... I wish that I had.. but lack of time.. I did in fact do what I wanted to do, I have zero regrets and I would go back tomorrow and spend my entire trip the same way again :) I went to opening ceremonies and saw Boba Fett fly and boy was it loud and awesome!!! I did not think the cake was that great!! I however simply LOVE my Luke Skywalker first day of issue stamp! Seeing the Troopers march with the flags was so great and put a lump in my throat. I just wish the band would have been LOUDER!! Steve Sansweet was simply great as an Ewok and solidifies my want to have an Ewok costume to wear for visiting kids! It was indeed hard to find and locate friends at any given time, even with your cell phone to find them.. just such a large venue, we all did our best to stay in touch though and connected and attend events together as a group and even managed to on a few occasions.

I spent a lot of my time volunteering for Official Pix as a Guest Escort. On my first day they assigned me to assist Nina Fallon, Nina played Stass Allie and more recently she was behind the camera as visual effects coordinator and producer for Mission Impossible III and 300. Right now she is working on a new movie but she isn't allowed to say which one it is, only that it is working for Bob Zemeckis, the director of Back to the Future. In any event I hung out with and assisted her for four hours on Thursday. She was really nice and a lot of fun. We had a pretty good time hanging out together. Pretty much felt like a pajama party to be honest. We laughed constantly. On Thursday afternoon and night I spent all of my time meeting up with many of my starwars.com friends, and my fan force friends from around the globe, hanging out looking at the fan fair hall, art hall, and the exhibit hall.

That is pretty much the way each day went, the only thing that changed is that each day I had a different guest to escort. On Friday I was with Howie Weed, who is a visual effects digital artist, model developer, and construction artist, he was a creature maker for The special editions of ESB and RotJ and after creating the Wampa costume he asked to be the one to wear it for the movie. I heard a number of unique stories about how the Wampa as we see it in the special edition came into being. Assiting Howie was absolutely awesome! He is no longer working at ILM as of a month ago. He has moved on to another company now but continues to work in the same field. Friday was when we went to Opening ceremonies and I got to see Steve Sansweet in an Ewok costume. I dearly loved that moment!! Classic in my opinion. Boba Fett flying across the auditorium was well worth seeing alone if nothing else had happened. After that some of us from starwars.com just went and hung out at the hotel talking about what we had seen so far and what was still to come.

For the moment I am skipping saturday.. it was a very special day and I will come back to it.. not that it will be that exciting to anyone else.. but just the same..I will move on to sunday. On Sunday I assisted Alan Ruscoe who played Plo Koon in ROTS and also Bib Fortuna in the ROTJ special edition and also Lott Dodd, and Daultay Dofine in TPM and AOTC. He is a British actor that has done extensive stage work, he also played Mangalore Kino in The Fifth Element, and appeared in a few of the current Dr Who episodes as well. He was great fun to hang with, actually he

I got my pictures up. Most of mine are pictures of JCers. I meet Dingo from Australia and ObiAnne and her friends from Sweden.

I hardly ever saw any TFF members. I thought for sure they'd be at the Stormtrooper Olympics. I did take care of Wookiee Hydration one night. Poor Jack couldn't get free. He was a hit.Pictures

I didn't get a picture of any of us! Must remedy that for CV. I can't wait to see Jack's pictures. He took several rolls of mostly costumed people.

Stupid this being a family-oriented thread, I am prohibitted from using vulgarity, therefore insert what you wish in this area camera and flash!

I've lost about half of the pictures I took because the shutter speed and flash didn't sync like they were supposed to. I will post whatever I can salvage.

The only way that would work is if they did a custom print job on each of the screwed-up pics. I don't have the financial resources for that. I need to get a new digital camera and dump the film camera.

When we were at Pirates last night, there was a commercial (the ones before the trailers) for Star Wars Robot Chicken. It is on 6/17. the bad part is that according to the newspaper, Robot Chicken isn't on until 1130pm! I was going to suggest a viewing. Maybe somebody can record it? I have to work the next day and that is past my bedtime.
