What do you like with your pancakes?

Personally I love some combination of sausage links, hash browns, scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy. The eggs are usually a must. And of course I put maple syrup and butter (or margarine) on the pancakes as well.

Butter and Syrup. Sometimes Nutella also.

 

Syrup. That is all.

The perfect breakfast.

 

Maple syrup and hot butter drizzled on top of the pancakes, with a side of scrambled eggs, some biscuits and a hashbrown or two.

 

Syrup (preferably strawberry, where available), sour cream, and an omelette.

 

NUTELLA!! I was tempted to say Vegemite and see what everyone thought, but I don't actually have that on pancakes

 

Butter and syrup on both but BACON or SAUSAGE a must!

....these are a "blue moon" treat for me these days

 

There was a place I went outside of Boston that had a breakfast meal that was 2 pancakes, a meat, eggs, potatoes and coffee.
I'd get blueberry pancakes, their home made corned beef hash (or sometimes bacon), over easy eggs, french fries (because I don't like home fries), and the coffee.

It was enough calories for at least two days, but damn it was tasty.

A good medium rare eye fillet steak on top of a pancake can be surprisingly delicious.

 

Butter. Or nutella. Or sugar, but that's for crepes... Cream cheese would probably be good on pancakes although I don't remember ever trying that...

P.S. Excuse the excessive use of "dot dot dot's..." See what I mean? Yeah...

Has to be sugar or treacle (UK version of Maple Syrup) Actually I have got into Maple Syrup over recent years.

Not keen on Sugar/Lemon.

 

I use the syrup of the blood of my enem—oh wait, someone already did that one.
