I voted ESB. But AOTC comes in a very close second. I just think I need to watch it more.

Attack of the Clones

 

1) The Empire Strikes Back / Attack of the Clones.

2) Return of the Jedi.

3) A New Hope / The Phantom Menace.

The first movie still come first for me but attack of the clones come a very close second.

I voted in this poll so long ago I can't remember which one I went for in the end! My problem is my favourite film switches between Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back. In some ways, and this probably won't make much sense to anyone (it doesn[t make much sense to me, either!) but Star Wars is the best film of the Saga, but Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars film of the Saga. Now, that probably makes no sense at all, but that's how I feel about it! Anyway, I'd probably rank them like this :-

1.) Star Wars
2.) Empire Strikes Back
3.) Attack of the Clones
4.) Return of the Jedi
5.) The Phantom Menace

But even though The Phantom Menace is at the bottom, and I do tend to bash it, it does have some jolly good moments in it, so that's alright!

 

ESB--no contest. Almost every line in that movie is a good quote.

ANH is a fairly close second.

 

The Empire Strikes Back, but I love all of the movies!

 

Right now it's AOTC. I find it hard to put them in order as they are all great and part of one story. But if I HAD to choose it would be -

1/ Attack Of The Clones
2/ The Empire Strikes Back
3/ A New Hope
4/ The Phantom Menace
5/ Return Of The Jedi

ESB always always comes first in my book - it is my all time favourite film. TPM is usually last but the othere 3 shift around a lot, probably several times a day.
