Lit What retcons if any would you like to see happen as a result Episode 7?

Either Jacen Solo wakes up and it turns out everything post TUF was a dream, or Han has the dream and chucks him out the airlock the day he's born.

 

I would rather they don't trample over the EU too much, but if it absolutely had to be that way the main thing I would want is for the New Republic to still exist as a functioning, more-or-less beneficent galactic government. The original trilogy was about a group of freedom fighters belonging to an Alliance to Restore the Republic. They won. The Republic should be restored. And while of course no government will ever be perfect, I damn well expect it to be as good or better than the Old Republic, and to last longer than some twenty-odd years.

 

I can absolutely 100% guarentee you that they will have the Sith and or darksiders in Episode 7.

 

Or something Ghost Anakin would have told Luke. I'm pretty sure "who is my mother" and "why did you turn to the dark side" would be the first two questions out of Luke's mouth.

 

How do you guys feel about the Sith species?

 

That would make for an interesting villain. Still Sith but not the Sith

 

I meant as something to retcon away, but your idea is interesting too.
