Ah, "Our Lady of the Soundtrack".

I've been listening to Superman Returns for the last few weeks...I tried to get into Dead Man's Chest but it just wasn't clicking for me.

I've been listening to Superman Returns and Dead Man's Chest. Superman Returns is the better of the two, in my opinion.

I've been listening to a bit of the new PotC soundtraack, but moreso my usual score playlists which are heavy on JW.

My iTunes play counts got reset last October. Over the last nine months, my soundtrack playlist looks like this...

    1. Goodbye Old Friend
    2. Going To Utapau
    3. Anakin's Betrayal
    4. Anakin Vs. Obi-Wan
    5. Battle Of The Heroes
    6. The Moisture Farm
    7. Dawn Of The Empire (edit of AOTC Finale)
    8. The Dune Sea Of Tatooine/Jawa Sandcrawler
    9. Landspeeder Search/Attack Of The Sand People
    10. Shuttle Tydirium Approaches Endor
    tie Anakin's Dark Deeds

... Some other actual cues have more plays due to being on multiple tracks I have in the playlist, such as my final duel edit and The Emperor Arrives.

Top TPM track is Qui-Gon And Darth Maul Meet.
Top ESB track is The Clash Of Lightsabers.
Top non-SW tracks are Into The West, Brother Of The Cruciform Sword, The Medallion Calls, Isengard Unleashed, The Enterprise, and Liberation: Exsultate Justi.

Zam The Assassin does have one play. On The Conveyor Belt has none.

Top rock tracks are "Leave" by R.E.M. and "Brothers In Arms" by Dire Straits.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Gotta love Davy Jones' music box. Right now though, it's slipped onto the He's A Pirate remix, and I'm trying not to claw my eyes out. To The Kraken with you!

Just want to add that I agree with Azure_angel, across the stars is heavenly. Why no Oscar nom?

Lots of Alan Silvestri and James Newton Howard.

Most often, though, The Mummy Returns, Predator, Judge Dredd, Signs, Dinosaur, and Lady In The Water.

Superman Returns, primarily for the last minute or so of Rough Flight (when Superman has to pick up the pace) and the Luthor theme, and also still to X3: The Last Stand, whose theme song is the best I've heard for a film.

Powell's X-Men III is the most frequently played right now (specifically, the last three tracks). I've also been listening to Michael Giacchino's first couple Medal of Honors and Howard Shore's Soul of the Ultimate Nation. And the "Symphonic Tegue" from Brian Tyler's FatF 3.
