Carb, IL What's evryone up to?

Ahhhh....I'm sorta bored and depressed tonight.

Anyone have any ideas for Halloween this year? I've got a few *ideas*, but I'm not for sure what I'm going to do yet...

 

I'm not sure about halloween. I've made alot of "Special Modifications" to my Dark Knight costume. And You should Totally go to the Superman Celebration as the Joker of Friday June 12. They are having a Superhero parade and me and Bob Dale will be there.

 

Glad to hear you've been able to work on your Batman costume, can't wait to see what's new with it! (You need those bubble lenses at the end of TDK!)

Right now I'm not for sure about Halloween either, there's a few things I would *like* to do, but to do so properly, I'd be spending ALOT of money, and I refuse to do that, LOL. But I want to do it right, so I might make it an ongoing project to someday make either a great costume, or a great display for a manequin, LOL.

I like thinking of things ahead of time, I just haven't been able to think up a good theme for mu family yet.

I hear alot about that event evry year, what is Bob Dale going as? (If he's dressin' up that is, lol.)

I am all about A New Hope -Revisited right now. Cant wait until next year when Empire Strikes Back- Revisited is to come out.

I'm still looking around for Joker parts, to finish my V2.0, I still need a tie (I know what I want), better pants, alber thurston suspenders (same used in the movie), and a lined coat. I found a lined coat, but its around $500. Its perfect though, wool, exact shape, and anything I want can be changed on it. So...It's just making myself confident that I can spend that much money on something I can't touch. I don't know if I could do that or not. Not to mention it's hard to match colors on the web, I'll need to request a swatch to make sure the fabric isn't to light in color.

I'll proboly continue to try and dye my own pants, I'm never going to drop $300 on the pants. The tie is $60 and perfect, and the suspenders are like $35, but they're the exact ones used. (So I know they're right, LOL.)

I'm up to the 14th floor.

Were heading to Wizard World next weekend.

 

I'll be going to Branson Monday for a few days. We're gonna meet some friends and their family from California down there, so it should be a good time, LOL.
