I'm asking this question because it looks like a war zone outside.. not like in '98, but still, snow, ice, rain... in a different order.. or not, but anyway, I'm ready to put my house on fire and move to Mexico! Anyone else's ready to do the same? Follow me to Tijuana!! :)

Public Service message to Americans lurking about:

Contrary to the past couple of messages, Canada is not typically a cold, frozen tundra. Why, we had summer just a few years ago and it was quite warm, believe you me. This stereotype of a snowy, arctic land has...

oh bloody hell. Polar bear's after the cats again. Let me patch up the igloo wall and I'll come back later to finish what I was saying.

    everyone sing with me:

Cuz it's forty below in the Winter.
And it's twenty below in the Fall.
And it rises to zero in Spring time.
And we don't have no summer at all.....

We Canadians have over 250 categories for snow :). Here in southern SK, we're dealing mostly with "dirty snow." You know the kind that comes from 9 months of sand on the roads, added to 2 weeks of melting. The stuff is like cold spongy mud. I hate spring time!
