Which Era would be best to make new movies and your cast?

I don't think post ROTJ is a good idea because not many people could accept recast of the big 3.

The Great Sith War is the best I could think about, KOTOR is also awesome but not that epic. TOR's canon story has not been done yet.

Legacy. Comics.
Some stuff between RotS and ANH would be nice, but not focused on the main characters so far as stars. What about the rest of the galaxy?

I reckon it'd be best to stay with the order of episodes 1-6 and base episode 7 after ROTJ. Although I've always wanted to see an episode based between episodes 3 and 4 focusing on the few Jedi that survived Order 66, like Shaak Ti and Quinlan Vos, I thought that'd make a pretty good film.

 

Set 5 years after ROTS, Vader and Boba hunting down the few Jedi that survived Order 66

 

I think post-ROTJ would be best since some of the original actors are still alive.

 

I would prefer something like 500 years after ROTJ. No skywalkers or solo's or bacca's, completely new story, galaxy and characters.

Kyp: She's not really my type, Master. 

Kyle: [smacks him upside the head] To follow her.

Kyle: She's been in contact with Talon Karrde. It's the only way she could know I hung up on him. 

Kyp: Oooh. I don't want you to get mad, ah-- 

Kyle: I thought you wanted me mad. 

Kyp: I did. It was kinda weird when you were being nice, not that you're not nice, ah... 

Kyle: Will you spit it out, Durron?


Jaina : [to Kyp] I didn’t know your nickname was “honey buns.”
Kyle Katarn: Only Naomi and I call him that.
Kyp: Didn’t think you were going to say anything about that, Master.

Jacen: The ship is registered to an Epsilon Corporation.
Kyp: Thanks for sharing, Probie.
Jacen: I just found it. Had to hack the New Republic’s transportation processing computer.
Kyp: Is that legal?
Jaina: I doubt it.
Kyp: Wonder what the penalty is?
Kyle Katarn: Less than reading your holo messages on my time, Honeybuns.
