Evan, IN Who all got hit by the bad weather?

I walked outside at around 2am Wednesday morning to the sounds of tree limbs crashing down and some pretty colorful lightshows courtesy of a blown transformers. Around 3am I lost my internets and shortly afterwards a loud cracking noise behnind my house signaled the end of power as a tree limb gave way under the weight of the ice and clipped my power line.

Power won't be back on till this weekend or maybe longer. But I will should be cool for PCMN this Sunday if we are still having it? (It's Super Bowl Sunday)

 

Yeah, we're good. Didn't lose power or anything really. The car got stuck in the parking lot, but it's fine now.

 

My professor is without power, which means I don't have class ... most of this week. I'm bored

 

Our power went out around 2:30ish Wednesday morning as well.
Still out too. So is our phone service.

We're staying with the in-laws, they have plenty of room.

 

Remember, Vectren is working hard to restore power. Unless your power supply was pulled out of your house, in which case, cough up some more money for your own damn electrician.

That 40% price hike last month wasn't enough.

 

Most of Meth Vernon was out, but we're back on for the most part. Good thing I stocked up on Kerosene before hand.

 

Kesh requested we record it for him since he only has heat, no cable, and I figured I'd open that invitation to everyone else, too. BYOB this week, since it's rent day

 

I might finally have power. BUT it'll likely not last. Missed B-star-G and they are not replaying it later in the week. Thus my taping is now off. Yes I'm very bitter. I hate ice and I hate snow. If I ever win the lotto I'm heading South. Like right under the frakkin equator. You'll NEVER see me again in the frakkin Midwest - N E V E R. Now I'm going to go cry.

I have the torrent, so we're gonna watch it tomorrow night. It. Is. AWESOME.

 

We were dark from Wednesday through yesterday. We've got power back now.

 

Our power was out from Tuesday until late monday evening.

I love my in-laws - but I *do not* want to live with them!

 

We got our power back on Saturday evening and WOW! reconnected the cable, internet, and phone this morning.

Not having the internets was a pretty disconnecting experience. I never realized how much I depended on it for
just basic info.
