also traci, those are the AOTC sabers, they retract all the way in

i started gathering materials yesterday to make my own hilt. we'll see if it's done in time for the con. my favorite quote of all weeeknd: "look, mom, a jedi!!"

 

oh i almost forgot to tell you, roy, apparantly security had an issue after we left with children jumping on the food court tables pretending to be jedi

 

Well, that's their problem not ours Who's to say the kids wouldn't have done it anyway?

 

Well I saw IMAX Clones last night at the Providence Place theater.....anyone else there? I didn't see any rebel shirts...

BTW, it was AMAZING!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!

 

hehe dex nah i didnt think it was our fault, it was just some awesome kids pretending to be jedi. my sister works at the mall and is friends with some security people so she told me later that night.

Sorry I didn't show up. I went to the Jordan's IMAX. Though I did wear my (horribly crude) Jedi costume with custom lightsaber to the opening night showing, and even managed to snag a few pictures with the only other costumed guy, who was in Stormtrooper armor. Not many people showed up on opening night in costume, or at least while I was there.

I caught two showings worth, which brings my total of AOTC viewings up to 6. Three in normal theaters, one digital and two IMAX.

IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!

how many times have people viewd AOTC now? i think i still own the record, but thats cos i've had it on bootleg dvd (top quality) since July. 53 viewings and still going.

 

This was my 4th time seeing it. two times on normal screen, once on digital, and then the one time in IMAX format. That's not counting the AOTC widescreen format DVD they are shipping to me on the 14th.

 

of course its not counting the dvd you will be getting on the 14th, as you haven't watched it on dvd yet
Which version was better? normal digital or IMAX?

 

IMAX by far. But since you can't see it every day in IMAX format, I prefer digital.

 

IMAX had it's positives and reg. has it's postives.....AAHHH!! I can't decide!
