    you're up.

I don't think you need to say when it happens in the movie, just as long as you get the movie.

Maybe that should be the new rule. You need to say what scene it is - to stop people from google cheating.

Then ondiv, Jedi_Noghri, saberweilder76, Darth Blob, _TYRELFILMS_, Phantom-Iam, and Corrin_Wyndryder (myself) all did just that.

It might just be me, but 7 people seems like more than 2.

How about for the first 48 hours after a quote is posted, you have to describe the scene, no google or imdb cheating. After that, we open it up just to keep things moving.

Personally, I think that the person who RUNS the fan force has the final say on it. Since that's what she said, that's all the needs to be done.

If it wasn't her thread to begin with, I'd be inclined to disagree with you. I wouldn't want anybody changing the rules to a game thread I started.

I simply expressed what I thought was a valid rule, concidering, followed by a count of who else thought it was a valid rule. I'm not here to change the game. I just like things to be fair. That's all.

Now, who's turn is it? Come on Marold, we're waiting for you. I want to take a stab at guessing!

For the record, I always thought it was a lame rule. Nothing personal.

I'm all for keeping things fair too. That "rule" just didn't seem fair to anyone who guessed the movie but not the scene just because they couldn't remember exactly when in the movie it was said.

I usually wait a couple days before searching the web for the movie anyway, if I don't know it.

I say just the name of the movie. If you feel inclined to add anything extra to it, be my guest but I won't have it be a rule. That's not the point of the game, just figuring out what movie it's from is.
