Speculation Will Luke get his Power Converters in VII?

I believe that this important plot point from the OT has not been resolved yet. Hopefully it will be in the next film..

I believe the plot revolves around Darth Plagueis transferring his essence into a power converter. Voice of Plagueis is rumored to be an eerie mix of archival casting tapes of thousands of rejected kid actors who auditioned for Anakin's role in TPM.

There are rumors of Adam Sandler playing a Jedi who survived the Order 66, but the shock has left him in a permanent state of a degenerate man-child.

 

If he only...

 

Luke's inability to get his power converters is the catalyst for his turn to the dark side. He will of course be apprenticed to darth Plagueis, who was Yoda the whole time.

When Luke finally dies, he's holding power converters. And he is content.

 

I would be too if they were the power converters from that clip. That is real and not the plastic kind with only the 5 points of articulation.

 

Maybe as a Life Day present. "Oh, you got me power converters!"

Turns out Plagueis was the inventor of power convertors, and personally responsible for the establishment of the Tosche Station. It was all part of his master plan. It'll all be covered in the book "Darth Plagueis Episode II: The Return of Forced Unnecessary Background Stories" (FUBS™)

 

Tragically Luke never gets his power converters but his son Ben does and he saves the galaxy after harnessing their power and defeating their creator, Plagueis.

 

But I really wish they come and resolve this major plot point. Who knows how Luke's life would have been if he picked up his power converters like he wanted to?
