will the ARC trooper be in the clone war series

Yes, they will be featured in the cartoon series. This was mentioned in the interview on TOS when the series was announced.

They'll also be making appearances in future issues of Republic, and troopers who are know known to have been ARC Troopers appeared in the short story by Aaron Allston in Issue #65 of SW Insider.

I think Lucas will ensure any character that they can turn into an action figure and generate more money will be in the cartoon.

Well, they did turn nearly all the characters from the Droids and Ewoks cartoon series into action figures, so why not here?

By Ghu, if they can turn Princess Kneesaa and the smelly Duloks into action figures, then they can turn ARC Troopers into ones, too!!

(By the bye, anyone think we'll get to see Kneesaa and the Duloks face off against the ARC Troopers on the new series...?? Oh goody boy... <Rubs hands together> )

BTW The 2nd Quest, The ARC is not mislabeled, It is in fact called an Advanced Recon Commando Trooper or so I've read

They were introduced in Republic #50 by Lama Su as Advanced Recon Clone troops.
Technically, they were actually introduced in the short story The Pengalan Tradeoff, but hey...

The Pengalan Tradeoff didn't officially refer to them as ARC troopers, though, nor did they wear the ARC troopers' fashonable skirts.

But yeah, they were ARC troopers.

BobaMatt- I don't think that they were ARCs. First, their attitude was totally different that that of an ARC's. Second, there's another branch of the special ops, called Clone Commandos. I think that that's what they were.

It was confirmed by VIPs that the Pengalon Tradeoff clones were ARCs.

They didn't have ARC armor because they were supposed to pass off as regular clones to trick the civilian.

That doesn't make any sense though. Those guys were practically polite to Joram, while the ARCs have a major attitude.

Well, to be fair, we've only seen that one of them has an attitude- Alpha.

Remember, the ARCS are highly independent, so they're unlikely to be uniform in attitude and nature.

They also could have been acting under orders to act as they did on Pengalon.

true, but I'm sticking with the fact that they were Commandos there. They just don't seem like ARCs.

I'm glad that they're in there. I haven't been around the boards too much to see them, and have yet to see the commersial anywhere, but from what i've seen, i've liked.
