San Fran, CA X3: The Last Stand - 5/26/06

I know this is a ways off, but they just debuted the new trailer for X3, and all I can say is the franchise looks like it's in good hands!

And it looks like the big showdown takes place at none other than the Golden Gate Bridge!

 

Isn't this supposed to be the Phoenix Saga? Aren't they supposed to be in outer space?

 

There weren't any shots in the trailer showing space, but Jean is back, but with the Brotherhood!

Can't wait for this one ... the phoenix saga was my favorite when I used to watch the cartoons

SOOOOOOO sweeeet!! I love it!! Man I need to make a storm costume....hmm... sounds like and idea!

 

My costume is easy.

 

Who wants to tackle Rogue (besides Robert, that is )? Actually, most of these mutants would be pretty easy to do. Rogue = white stripe in hair and long gloves; Storm = white wig; Callisto = make-up design on cheek; Pyro = a lighter; Wolverine = a cigar, leather jacket and wife beater, etc. I'm just wearing a black leather jacket, gloves and pants. Who could play Wolverine? Hmmm. We need someone who has dark, spiked hair who likes to whip Brotherhood candyass! I wonder....

Erick, I don't think you should be Pyro. The thought of you playing with a lighter... Maybe Angel? All you need are those white wings from a costume shop, jeans, and maybe Dale's "Caucasian In A Can" spray.

 

Wow ebay does have everything... I saw some wolverine claws there. some resin ones for about $20. Not bad... I dunno though, my facial hair doesn't get that long and on the sideburns and I'd have to wear a beard cover at work. Those thing itch like heck... hate that.

I have long, black leather gloves for my Padme costume, I could be Rogue...I only saw the first one in the theatre when it came out, so I don't know what else she wears...I know the cartoon wore a headband.

 

As long as everyone wears black, we should look good!

Mirtha convinced me to do Jean Grey instead; burgandy hair is cooler than white streaks...hahaha...I can't do the maroon jumpsuit, but apparently she wore all black in the other movies, so I can do that, and I do have the knee-high black boots (thanks to Eva)...didn't remember Jean Grey was a villian...yay!!!

now I have to find a wig!
