Anyone wanna do a FanForce online bash? Danny, Joe, I know y'all have 360s.
I am by no means great at it but I have fun with the Halo 3. Besides, it's not like I can do much else right now.

 

Im not signed up yet since I don't have the wireless. I might be moving it off the plasma, that POS gets burn in way too easily. I think my next HDTV will be LCD. I also don't have Halo3 yet, I just bought Asassin's Creed off eBay though for half the retail price.

 

Dude! Screw that 100 buck POS! I have a couple boxes of CatV! We can make you a few network jacks any friggin' where you want. Your router is in the office right? That is an easy run with your basement.

I agree on the plasma vs LCD deal. Let's make that another discussion.

Finally broke down and bought a 360 this weekend. Only got SW Lego's Complete Saga (so the kids can play too) so far. Will get Call of Duty 4 as soon as I can. I have the same problem in that my system is across the room from my hub. The cat5 I have is about 4 ft too short.

 

Assasin's Creed is awesome.

I don't have that but I have Call of Duty 4. That is fun but playing online is INSANE! If I stay alive for a minute I feel like I have done well.

I have been saying that we should put together a band for a while now. Problem is that Joe won't let us use part of his basement to put all the stuff.

James if you have a couple spare Ethernet connector pieces, let me steal two so I can make an extra long cable.

As for an extra long cable, how long do you need?

 

I've got five guitars and a Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier and half stack. You wanna jam, I'm down. You wanna play some Rock Band? I'm down, just don't play with Tony; Tony and music/rhythm games go as well together as Michael Jackson and other peoples' children. I'd have to buy the second guitar, unless Joe got Guitar Hero for the 360, then we're good.

 

The guitars MUST be listed. With pictures preferred please.

 

Back when I was in my early teens, my parents got me a Paul Stanley (from Kiss) Ibanez guitar (I think it was the one that he used on the Dynasty or Unmasked album...yes, they were still called albums back then). I had wanted to learn to play, but never did. Maybe in my old age I will. I think my dad still has the guitar though (he can actually play it).

As for the Cat5 cable, I'm not sure what length I need yet. I haven't measured.

 

Let me know, I can make ya a cable in like 10 minutes.

 

So I just figured out that there is this whole achievement thing on Halo 3 that you can do with the game. Some are pretty fun, some are a total P.I.T.A. I reckon it is a way to keep folks in to the game though.

 

James, if you wanna hook up some four player co-op and do legendary, let me know; I've already gone through it once (and it wasn't fun)

As for the guitars, Bam!

The fifth is a Yamaha accoustic/electric I picked up back in the day,

I love my metal guitars (because that's what I play!) so I stay in that area

 

I measured last night. I'd need about a 27' cable.

 

Steve your Dad gave me guitar lessons years ago. He taught me for a little while, so I only learned chords and a few songs. Tell him that I still play today. I'm not very good but I still like to play every once in a while.
I need to come over sometime and check out the 360. I have been wanting one for awhile now.
