I saw it yesterday and I can honestly say..

what the hell was that?

I know it's based on a novel(book) or something but what's the point in making such movie? Ewan is charming but he practically made love to every living,breathing female organism by the river.Totally unrealistic if you ask me. I liked the scene where he baked a pie or something and you know the rest .
What do you think?

 

I've just read the book; bought it in Edinburgh two months ago, appropriately enough. I liked it, though it wasn't that special. It was one of those "kinda interesting" books.

I haven't seen the film. It's not something I'd rush to go and see. If it's on TV, I might watch.

 

I very much look forward to it but unfortunately I have no idea when it opens here. I am well prepared that it may be a little weird sex obsessed film, but Ewan will pull me in despite that.

 

I can't wait!

 

I've read the book, but the movie does not come out in my area until April 2004. Not sure I want to go and see it. Maybe when its out on dvd and I can skip some scenes.
