Yuman Car watched with at the infidels with look of boredom and disgust. He never understood why they didn't just kill all of them on this pathetic world. They were some of the most godless beings he had ever seen in his life time.

He would eagerly wait for the day when the invasion began. Then he would kill them. As many as he could find.

They had no idea what was going on. Already, they had planted magama pebbles in several turbo laser cannons, under the disguise of doing repairs on the guns. When they tried to fire them, they would explode.

Yodas-evil-twin, Already, they [the Yuuzhan Vong] had planted magama pebbles in several turbo laser cannons, under the disguise of doing repairs on the guns. When they tried to fire them, they would explode. That sounds a little too easy, doesn't it? Feel free to describe how they did that, exactly. It'd certainly make for a deeper post.

They did it in shifts, faking the reapirs, and waiting until, their backs were turned to place them in. To insure maximum damage, they also sabtoged cooling regulators so that even if the magma pepples failed, they could still cause the guns to overheat during the actual attack itself.

They had captured and interrogated a real repair crew, so that they could figure out the guns inner workings. It was easy to make therm break.

He very carefully cut a wire to one of the regulators, and watched as its light dimmed. He then very carefully place a magam pebble in one of the clusters of wires, burrowing it in so that it couldn't be seen. He mentally promised the gods that he would cleanse himself of the abominations taint once he had the chance.

Nodding to one of his companions, he then replced the panel over hhis work, and watched as the others did the same. They slunk off, heading back towwards the hidden area in the base where they kept the original team. They would kill them, and then destroy their bodies.

Supreme Commander Jeekahk Nagakah of the mighty Yuuzhan Vong, blessed child of the great gods, watched from the command room of the Slayer's Blade with an expression of utter distaste as his forces converged on the pitiful world of Dellalt. Scouts had reported little in the way of expected resistance and Jeekahk domain Nagakah planned for his victory to occur within a mere matter of hours.

He allowed his distaste to subside as his most trusted warrior entered the command room. Gazing down upon Rodrook Frek, the Supreme Commander offered a slight nod of acknowledgement. His gaze remained on the warrior permitting him to step forward, though no words were uttered.

Rodrook caught sight of Nuurah Looh, the Supreme Commander's priest advisor, standing silently within a shadowy corner of the room. The warrior did not avert his gaze, however, as he stepped toward his commander and lowered himself to one knee. "I bring word from Commander Hruiir Korh." His eyes narrowed as a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "We have confirmation that both Chandaar and Jaminere have fallen."

"Excellent," Commander Nagakah approved, a sense of triumph growing within him. "These infidels, they offer little resistance. They cower at the might of the Slayer and the glory of Yun-Yuuzhan." His smile was one of supriority and confidence. "It will not be long before this promised galaxy is indeed ours."

Pleased and inspired by his commander's confidence Rodrook Frek was eager for another engagement with the infidels. He did not speak, but rather waited for further word from his honoured leader.

"Maintain contact with Hruiir domain Korh and Gharkih domain Huk'k. They have served the gods well and will be rewarded for their efforts." Jeekahk Nagakah remained silent for a moment, considering a new assignment for his most trusted warrior. "You will join Commander Korh, as an advance agent. He will have use for you, just as I will as you serve within his immediate rank of subordinates. Watch him and serve to please him as he orders."

Bowing his head slightly in a sign of understanding and obediance, Rodrook used the opportunity to spare a quick glance toward the command room's shadowy corner. He had not seen any sign of the priest elsewhere aboard the Slayer's Blade since arriving upon the vessel, but was well aware that Nuurah Looh had been within the company of the Supreme Commander whenever he had been seen. It was a thought he entertained only for a moment as he returned his gaze to Jeekahk Nagakah.

"That will be all. Leave us," snapped the Supreme Commander, catching sight of his subordinate's averted gaze. As expected, Rodrook Frek snapped fists to opposite shoulders as he stood and departed immediately, leaving the commander alone with only his priest.

Nuurah Looh remained as silent as the shadows he stood amongst. He did not move nor stir until his superior gestured for him to approach. And, even then the priest moved slowly, as if to test his master's patience. Jeekahk Nagakah graced him with an amused smile, one that Looh recognised without having to see.

The priest walked toward his master's command chair and stood as still as a statue. He felt the air stir around him as the Supreme Commander raised himself from his seat and stepped down from his dias to stand in front of his advisor. Nuurah Looh smiled with affection and lifted and arm, his palm resting upon the muscular shoulder of his superior. Slowly, he lowered his hand to drift across the warrior's garments until finally settling at the commander's chest.

They were alone once again. Battle would come soon, but there was time yet that they could spare together.

Nodding to one of his companions, their present task complete, Yuman Car replaced the panel over his work, and watched as the others did the same. They slunk off, heading back towards the hidden area in the base where they kept the original team. The infiltating warriors had prepared to kill the captured infidels, but they seemed to have escaped.

There was no sign of them even after examination of the surrounding area. If the infidels had escaped they may have organised a resistance group or summoned reinforcements. It was Yuman's duty to prevent that from happening.

He knew that they would have to put their operations on hold while they searched for the missing infidels. They could be anywhere on this god-cursed world. They would likely be in the less populated areas if they were forming a resistence group. That way, they would have a better chance of hiding supplies.

He had three of his companions head towards the closest of the less populated areas. He needed to inform the commander of what had transpired.

They would likely be in the less populated areas if they were forming a resistence group. That way, they would have a better chance of hiding supplies. Or, so Yuman thought.

He had three of his companions head towards the closest of the less populated areas. Those three searched for several hours, but found no sign of the escaped infidels. Instead, they caught sight of several others in an organised evacuation effort of the area. Clearly there were many more infidels elsewhere on the world.

Any efforts to try to contact the commander directly failed, so Yuman Car settled with sending a message of what had transpired, leaving that note with the commander's second.

I believe we managed to serve our purpose here. Certainly not without gain or learning. A memorable and enlightening experience that I enjoyed and will not soon forget. As IBoP draws toward its end, with slowed activity in this area, there seems little need for continuation. Thank you to those that participated. You will not be forgotten :)

Any further Yuuzhan Vong activity will be welcome in the Smaller Factions Thread.
