Syra, NY 1st Annual Star Wars Party - New Years Eve in Syracuse

The B-Movie Film Festival is throwing a Star Wars party Dec. 31st, 9am-2pm. They'll be a costume contest, vendors, raffles (with monies raised going to St. Jude's Children's Hospital), games, etc. Admission is $10 for 5 hours of fun. As a free bonus during the even we'll probably have some fans films playing, maybe the Holiday special, and after midnight "The Brazilian Star Wars". "SCIENCE-FICTION" CELEBRATION AT THE PALACE MOVIE THEATER

**Press Release** Nov. 21st, 2005 ? Syracuse NY. Looking for a fun alternative to the usual choices on New Years Eve for yourself or your family? Then come join The B-Movie Film Festival and The Palace Movie Theater for a fun-filled ?Science-Fiction? inspired New Year?s Eve celebration!

Starting at 9pm, the lobby will be opened for video games, raffles, merchandise, charity fund raisers? AND if you come in dressed as your favorite sci-fi movie character, you can compete in our costume contest and win up to $100 worth of prizes.

Around 10pm, we?ll start playing some sci-fi rarities and fan films. Schedule on these will vary. At 11:45pm, we?ll watch the ball drop and welcome in the New Year!

Then shortly after midnight, we will screen the ultra rare ?Brazilian Star Wars?. Filmthreat.com gave the movie 5 stars, noting ? It is impossible to imagine another film as ridiculous as this could exist.?

Ticket prices are $10 per person, which covers the entire evening (5 hours!). The Palace Movie Theater (463-9240) is located at 2384 James St, in the Eastwood suburb of Syracuse. The Palace will have its usual selection of great concessions on hand as well.

Any local businesses interested in donating an item to be raffled off please contact The B-Movie Film Festival at the number below. Monies collected for the raffles will go to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org). We have the tax forms on hand for any items you donate for the raffles.

Well, it's just about here - we have a fun night planned, looks to be real busy. We've got the costume contest, we've got video games, we have raffles for charity, we have a really cool, unique presentation of a rare Sci-Fi movie, and we have the crazy, insane "Planet Wars" (aka The Brazilian Star Wars").
