A FanForce Directory

I am the webmaster of Nashville Fan Force and Jay Chipman/Elan-Rai is the City Rep.
I think it would be a good idea to have a directory of all official Fan Force chapters on the FanForce main page. Here is an example of the format, each chapter has it's own table row and the whole deal is listed in a table.

This is a good idea.

 

We are currently working on something like this, we must be patient.

 

You could expand that a bit to list every member of a chapter with the inclusion of a title attribute. That way a chapter can list a CR, an alternate or secondary CR, a webmaster, editor, regular member etc.

UK FanForce (we call ourselves the FF-UK), www.ff-uk.org.uk, we have two city reps (Commander Antilles and Alphawolf), and our website masters are anakin_pm and Jairen I think.

We don't have a website, either. None of us have tekky skills.

 

I would be willing to work on websites for other FanForec chapters if anyone is interested. Either PM me or email me, work's been kind of slow lately and I have a ton of free time right now.

I like this Idea
I think the web masters of each region should clamber together and see what we can learn from each other.
As Bash has pointed out www.ff-uk.org.uk is our site.
If we can get some a Admin to run around most of the regions and ask them weather or not they have web site and we could just make a huge web book and create a new thread with them in. Not to remove JediToren's idea its just this thread is going to go a bit AWOL other wise

A directory is nice. Rox has shown me some stuff he has that will accomplish what we're looking for. We will implement this when we update the site.

Here are some other updates, most that have posted in this thread know about them already.

- The fanforce staff page has been updated. This was long overdue and many of our staff had not been recognized, until now! View Staff Page

- An offsite staff database has been created. I may eventually port this to web so we can update staff info on the fly.

We are currently working on the FF facelift. We've got some great peeps helping us on this, it will kick much booty! (Not Nabooty though )

If there is an interest from non-Swedish speaking FanForce members I could make the info part in English.

The idea of the webmasters coming together and discussing sounds great to me. I'm all for it.
