Anybody interested on playing a PbP game right here?

Requires a lot of trust as far as admiting what you rolled, but I'm all for it.

 

You can just give the GM your sheet, and he can roll for you, but I have played on a forum which used a trust system.

Don't worry, it works easily.
I'm a newb to SWRPG, but what I know I learned by PbP games.So let's say You are the GM, and the rest of us are players.
So you make a thread, and tell us all the stuff you would tell us in a normal game.
Than our turn comes, and we reply to the thread, telling you what our PCs are doing, just like in normal games.

There's five of us, we can start already.
Will we trust eachother, or will the GM roll?
Who want's to be the GM?

 

Sounds intriging, but I'd fall to the temptations of the dark side.

ie;

I'd always roll natural 20's.

Okay, there seems to be enough interest in this.

Here's what I'll do.

I'm going to create two threads (later). One will be the GAME thread. This will be for all in-character interaction as well as the actual game itself.

The second thread will be the SUPPORT thread. In there we'll discuss rules, characters, etc. Charlie, you should think about whom you'd like to GM the game (including yourself, if you wish). Then we'll need to hash out characters (levels, rolling stats, etc.). Then we can get going in the GAME thread.

So I think we should start off with one adventure so far and see how it goes. Best to start small, methinks.

I'd be interested if we did a Camapign, but a One-Shot isn't really my style.

Also, isn't this what the RPF is for?

 

That's what I determined from my opening post.

Apparently this is geared to be an online play-by-post actual game (in the same vein of play-by-email).

So this *isn't* an RPF thing, it's an RPG thing since we'll be rolling dice to determine outcomes (and relying on the "honor system").

Well, i've got a campaign i'm running right now with a novice Group that I would be willing to run. Heck, i'd like to see how the stories turn out differently between a noivce group and a more advanced group.

But if oyur Just interested in a One-Shot, i rthink i'll wait till we get outta that Drudgery to join up.

 

Ow. It sounds great but I'm afraid I won't play. I can't go through the trouble of rewriting each and every post for hours until I think "Hmmm, I guess this is *readable* English".

I am an experinced GM and player, either way suits me. I have most of the WotC books (all except campaign guide and rebellion era). I could do a one-shot or a campaign.

This game sounds like a good idea. I'm in.
