1942 - mmmm - have heard mixed reports - is it good?

I don't have it, probably wont get it - but I'm up for JO/JK/MOTS/RTCW/ET/XWA if/when I get a stick of JOY.

NB: Gaming must take place next semester. Unavailable for the next 2-3 weeks.

 

cable internet, via saturn graal.....although am having troubles configuring it at this stage........we are also setting up a network as well.....

BF1942 is pretty damm cool.....if you like FPS.....great thing about it is the vehicles.......being tanks, planes, ships, and jeeps.............nothing like going for a crazy high speed drive in a jeep witha bot driving and ending up smashed into a tree

 

SFL is having to come and play at my place as his 56k conn keeps laggin on him, have downloaded ET for RTCW, looks pretty good!
Should have BF1942 by the weekend too.

 

Yea, I'm in a team/clan for RtCW and are we're in the NZ competition. We lost our first game - but won this week - WOOHOO.

I do lag - so I've been put as Lt - to just give ammo - as that's not a crucial role. But Graal's DSL would greatly help me and our team.

We only play RtCW - not ET - but ET is great - and free! No CD key required or anything. So if you can DL 257MB - DO IT!

Graal, if it's ok- I might swing by this weekend to make sure your RtCW is going to work ok for monday night. I'll ring or text ya.

i'm away from my cable modem for the next two weeks so won't be able to play BF till after then........should give you a chance to get familiar with the game

 

Does anyone, by any chance, have the game 'Yoda stories'? I've been playing the demo for years, and I'm getting tired of the same ending, lol. Been scouting around everywhere for it ... it's on ebay, but the postage is a bit too much, considering the game is worth about $10.

Yea... but Ummm. I didn't buy it on purpose. I bought it cause I saw "BF'42" for $49. I thought - that's cheap. And when I got into the car, I saw "Road to Rome Expansion Pack".

Oh, well I can get my hands on the proper game easily enough.
