Keeping us laughing is a good thing, Technoviper. :)

The image of someone trying to talk their younger sibling into portraying the Death Star superlaser just cracked me up. [face_laugh]

An update from the Ga501st. We will definately have some members up there. I don't know how many will be willing to stay the night, but I'm sure we can have some Imperial Security there at key times.

I'm glad to have some Troopers join us.

BTW, over at the Moisture Farm Co-Op site, I've been tauting the Hothlanta line. If any of you want to join in, feel free. (It's a nice gesture, since Farmer Amy did post on this thread ;-) Go to http://www.moisturefarmcoop.com/cgibin/mwf/topic_show.pl?id=555

You should check it out for no other reason than to read Paul's interpretation of my actitivites to get Farmers to line up in Atlanta.

    That is so funny!

I'm going to have to register for the Moisture Farm Co-Op boards just to bring my own brand of silliness to them.

Do you think they're ready for the likes of me, Carol. :p

Actually, I may be pretty tame compared to Paul. ;)

Guys, I can't wait to capture all our craziness with my digicam for posterity. Can y'all imagine the eye rollings when our kids see pictures of us in our digs? My friends have already groaned when they heard I was going to Indy; now my kids will be able to say "Dad, you;re such a geek!"

You say that as if it's a bad thing. The geek shall inherit the Earth.

BTW, not knowing Atlanta as well as I probably should, could someone supply directions to a rather puddin'headed guy from Athens?

Did you need directions to our next meeting, or to where we will be lining up for Episode II?

Right now, no one knows exactly when AOTC tickets will go on sale. Most folks assume that they will go on sale the week before the release but, as I said, that is only assumption at this point.

We will let everyone know when tickets will go on sale as soon as we find out. :)

Actually, Minicia, I could use directions to both.

*Getting strange looks from his co-workers as his he pits his brand-new Jango Fett action figure against his brand new Obi-Wan Kenobi figure on his desktop.... The Obi-Wan's 'Force power' is really cool*

Upon which main road are you coming? (Ooo..flashbacks to grammar lessons there.)

    Regal24
From I-85 South, exit Chamblee-Tucker road and take a left over the highway. Take the first left onto the access road and it's about a 1/2 mile on the right. (A little hard to miss, once you're on the access road.)

    Meetings
It depends which site we use. Directions usually accompany the meeting announcement.

Thanks, Rosie -- For a bureaucrat, you give remarkably clear directions! :p

By the way, I prefer using Rand McNally for directions. If you haven't used it, you may want to give it a try.

That was rude. Technoviper does not live in Atlanta and was trying to get clearer directions. Besides, he was also trying to start a conversation and make friends.

The lady in charge is madly trying to finish a paper for her graduate degree, right now. Is there something we can try to answer for you?

I thought Rosie gave good directions and I wasn't trying to be rude. There is a reference to Mapquest.com here and I was simply offering an alternative.

Sheesh. I would have said it's Shallowford Rd. where one needs to exit.

No worries, Silas. Misunderstandings are easy online.

Personally, I prefer Rand McNally. I've gotten lost too many times with MapQuest.

I get lost using those things... I find it's better to simply get directions from a native. Not only are their directions usually more accurate and up-to-date, they may also know quicker routes that aren't mentioned.
