Our April event will be a BBQ at the park. "Tell us more!" you say? Alrighty then.

Where: BEAUTIFUL Mile Square Recreational Park

Who: Well, us of course. Please bring your friends and family too! This will be a great time to introduce potential new member to the group! A few members from some other Fanforce chapters may join us too!

When: Saturday, April the 24th 2004 A.D.
12 noon - 9:00pm when the kick us out

Why: Everyone has to eat right?

How much: The park charges $4 per car. Alas, nothing in life is free. :? We will be asking for each of the outlying Fanforces to bring drinks and chips with them to help cover the costs. If you would like to bring additional food as well you are more than welcome to.

Oh sounds good, if I can just get someone from our FanForce whom may be interested in going to drive me, then you can for sure bet that I'll be there...

//Edit: I looked at my calender, I believe that my churches "Teacher's Confernce" is going on that day, however, I will look into it and keep you all informed .

 

I should be able to make it. At least thats the way things look right now. If things change I will let everyone know.

 

The Good
We will be at spot #2. I'm sorry we didn't get #1, but trust me, we want spot #2. It's the Cadillac of picnic areas.
It's near the corner of Eucild & Warner. You should be able to park on the street for free, so park near there.
You can have dogs on a leash no longer the 6 feet(the leash, not the dog).
Mile Sqaure is a Dry park
You can fish if you want to, but you have to ave a license.
There's a bike trail.
You can bring some chairs if you want to insure you'll have a place to sit.

The Bad
You can't bring a table. They don't serve their kind there.
No feeding the birds
No clowns
No signs
No fireworks
No swimming. Trust me this won't be a problem because . . .

The Ugly
The lake. Ewww.

Just teasin' I will still look into it, and let you know if that day is taken by that conference or not. I think however, that it is, but again as I said, I am unsure...

 

Heh, if I can get a ride I'd be more than happy to make it, that's if I don't have work of course. But if I can be certain to have a ride, I can ask for that day off from work, or switch with someone else.

Just a reminder. This is on the 24th, less that 2 weeks away. Hopefully you guys can make it. Please bring some snacks, and a cooler full of sodas. And bring yourselves, and uh, whatever you need to play volleyball, soccer, softball, etc.

Hrm... I really want to go, i think this would be lots of fun... problem is, rides still need to be figured out, so yeah... anyone who's going, can I catch a lift with you? I'll give you gas money ^_^;;;;;;;;;;;

 

I'm most assured that everything will be worked out for ya. It appears that I will be unable to attend . Mainly because of my "Teacher's Conference" is scheduled on that exact date, and I must attend, as I wish to re-vamp my teaching styles . Plus the church already paid for me to go. Sorry.

 

Hey, make sure you bring your baseball/softball gloves if ya got 'em so we can 'play ball'!
