I don't know if I ever posted these, but worth a good laugh all the same. My son actually pointed them out, courtesy of his school. They actually spend money on good crap - go figure:

    Lasers

    Flight

    Robots

Good SW references. Oh - you are only allowed to watch 2 movies a day..... unless, by some chance, the cookie happens to get deleted over and over and over. It could happen. :)

And I hope you're all taking notes, cuz there's gonna be a short quiz next period.

Nice. Of course, the airplane should have been "N1138", but still. Funny.

we might as well just get the admins to rename this "blatnet drive for post on jillion" and be done with it until EpIII comes out... that is, unless they plan on switching over the entire message boards on us again.

    Boy, did that suck.

    How 'bout that!?!?!?!?

Switching boards does suck, unless you're Tony Hawk. Then it looks cool, and can win you X-Games gold.

OK, so I went to see "Punch-Drunk Love" last night, and ended up saying something I was certain I'd never say in my life: "Gee, that was a really good Adam Sandler film."

I'm still a little shaken by that concept.

OK, I'll let this one slide, but if you start saying that you saw a good Pauly Shore movie, I'm going to have to call the men in the white coats.

    Holy God.

I'm in complete, 100 percent agreement with you, there. We went to see it a few nights back, and damned if it bluidie welle wasn't one of the best films I've seen in the last five years or so. And starring Adam Sandler, no less.

    You hear that noise...??

Those are the polar bears having snowball fights down in Hell.

I'm still utterly dazed. In a good way, though.

I think Leo is talking to all the fanboys out there.... :)

    Aries: (March 21?April 19)
You are in grave danger of losing whatever credibility you had as a psychiatrist, which is strange, as you've been in floorcoverings for 17 years.

    Taurus: (April. 20?May 20)
A sign from the heavens will guide your every waking moment for the foreseeable future. It will be a sign telling you about The WB's hot new show Greetings From Tucson.

    Gemini: (May 21?June 21)
Although you've always wondered if this is all there is to life, it's not like you've done anywhere near all of this in the first place.

    Cancer: (June 22?July 22)
You'll continue to encounter long silences after uttering your trademark catchphrase, "Who ****ed a chicken in here?"

    Leo: (July 23?Aug. 22)
You'd chew through piles of the dead for a smile from a pretty girl, which is fortunate.

    Virgo: (Aug. 23?Sept. 22)
You're not even the greatest lover in the food court, which is what you get for working at Barry White's Supperteria.

    Libra: (Sept. 23?Oct. 23)
An unusually reticent Satan will take you to a somewhat high place and, in exchange for your allegiance, offer to make you treasurer of all you survey.

    Scorpio: (Oct. 24?Nov. 21)
You like to think you can be relied on to do the right thing in a crisis. Well, enjoy your last few days of believing that, pants-wetting panic bunny.

    Sagittarius: (Nov. 22?Dec. 21)
Next week will feature family scandal, almost a dozen murders, a drowned girlfriend, and lots of manic depression, yet it's not in any way based on Hamlet.

    Capricorn: (Dec. 22?Jan. 19)
Unfortunately, there are only "kill or cure" solutions to your problem, but, hey, anything's better than hiccups.

    Aquarius: (Jan. 20?Feb. 18)
You will once again have to deal with obvious fabrications, emotionally manipulative arguments, and outright insanity, but it means so much to your mom when you take her to church.

    Pisces: (Feb. 19?March 20)
You'll be surprised how little you miss the parts that don't grow back.

I'm a little behind the times but I finally got to see the "Conan O'Brien Show" when Triumph the Insult Dog interviewed the NY lineup. Friggin hilarious!!!

    One of the best parts.....

Triumph: Ok, time for some trivia. What substance was Han Solo frozen in?

    Line up: Carbonite!!

Triumph: No, no. Very sorry. The correct answer is,"Who gives a 'bleep'?"

    More movie news:

Micheal Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" may be the best film of the year... perhaps the best film of the past few years. However, it's also one of the most numbing, depressing films I've ever seen. Despite his attempts to keep the film from becoming _too_ cynical, I left the theater feeling like I was carrying a 400lb. lead weight of futility. I highly reccommend seeing the movie, but do yourself a favor and plan on doing something nice afterwards like getting ice cream or playing with a puppy... you're going to need it.
