Books of Blood - like it or not?

    I'm halfway through this anthology of Clive Barker's 3 volumes of the Books of Blood.

    His stories start out great but then start sucking hard towards the end (just like Stephen King tends to do).So far I would rate this book as average.

    Does anyone know which book contains the Clive Barker story "The Forbidden"?

    The Forbidden is Candyman, right? That's in In The Flesh.

    His stories are on and off. I really enjoy The Yattering and Jack, The Midnight Meat Train, and a few others which titles elude me now. Of his novels, I guess my favs. are The Great and Secret Show and Weaveworld.

    Candyman is based on The Forbidden. Thanks for the info on which book contains it.

    So far my fave story from BoB is Midnight Meat Train.

    God its been a long time since I've read that book. All I remember is that it was one of the few things of his I could actually get into.
