Seven years. That's quite a feat for a forum thread, or anything internet-related.

 

I'm glad this thread is still around.

However, it is a bit sad there isn't much Callista-related news to talk about lately. Anybody working on any Callista fanfic/fanart/etc?

 

I have the oddest idea to drop Callista into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

 

I would read that! Would she be pony-fied or stay human?

 

Stay human, definitely. And probably have the Force, too. Although it's been so long since I did anything with Callista, read anything with her...

God, I'm not sure I could do it.

 

I'm sure you can do it!

Certainly you can't do any worse than the profic.

Does anyone know if any Callista action figures were released? long shot I know, but I figure I'd ask.

Good question. I don't know of any, but I'm no expert on action figures. A quick search in Collecting yielded zero results, so it seems unlikely, unfortunately.

 

Yeah, Hasbro will keep re-hashing "Fan Favorites" but won't come out with EU figures like Callista or Gariel (I'd love to see those!)

Yeah, but then I suffered the revenge of the Fifth.

 

I still have to read I, Jedi but would it make sense to read Children of The Jedi after that?

My latest book was courtship of princess leia - it was fun to see Luke hitting on the witches of Dathomir. He's ridiculously adorable so I want him to finally have a semi-successful relationship for once.

 

Sure, it's the next book chronologically. But I wouldn't consider Luke and Callista's relationship to be even semi-successful. Unless, of course, you don't read Darksaber or Planet of Twilight, which, now that I think about it is a good plan - read Children of the Jedi, skip to The Crystal Star or The New Rebellion and make up your own reason for why Callista has disappeared.

 

The New Rebellion was kind of a good read. I'm also a big fan of the early X-Wing series.
