    Land of Dreams, Yavin IV

One side of his mouth turned up into an indignant smile as the other man spoke. He was using the wrong bargaining chip. Han didn't have much invested in the Alliance and while he had no qualms about taking target practice against stormtroopers, he wasn't particularly interested in taking on the job full-time. As far as he was concerned, whatever happened to the Emperor wasn't his problem. In fact, he was only doing it to--

Why was he doing it again? The princess? Luke? Chewie? Hell, he didn't even know. All that mattered was that he was stuck there and he didn't want to be...or rather, shouldn't be. Not with a price on his head...

The sound of Not-Luke's laughter shook him from his thoughts as the other man produced a small holopad that sat neatly in his palm. Han glowered at the device, half expecting it to blow up in his face, but when nothing happened, the imposter continued.

“You wanna know who is the enemy, Captain Solo?” he asked with an eerie smile, so unlike the real Luke.

"Doesn't look like I have a choice, do I?" he grumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest, obviously growing irritated. "Alright, fine...why don't you enlighten me."

    Lorn
    Camp One

His eyes caught the blade and a sigh escaped his lips. "His idea, I guess. What did he promise you for it, hm? Liberty? Survival? Power?" Lorn relaxed and felt the force surge into him. He tried to dampen the pain in his leg and tried to control his anger the same time. "Whatever it is, he simply wanted me to kill you. You realize that, do you? No matter how good you are girl, you are not that good." Lorn slowly turned his head toweards her and smiled. "Don´t do it." He then said and allowed the force to carry his words, hoping she understood a word of what he said.

He did not wanted to kill the girl.

But certainly he would. Lorn had decided he wanted to life and nobody and not even the presence would kill him tonight.

    Zelia
    The Wreck

Zelia looked at the girl and wondered if she really thought she could hide from those hunters? "I think you haven´t got the situation yet, little girl." She finally said and shook her head. "Those hunters will find you, no matter how big or small your group is." Zelia took one of her lightsabers from her belt and made her way towards the exit. "The only way to survive them, is kill them before they kill you."

Lorn could easily have sliced them to pieces. The Lorn of Old. She knew that, she had seen him do worse. But the Lorn of these days . . . he was relucatant, weak, doubtful. Not himself. Well, he could not be himself, could he? Neither could she? She had to talk to the reptile. He had answers. And then she would decide upon the visitor´s offer. "Follow me and try not to make too much noise. I am not in the mood for fighting anything."

Zelia did not look if Cece followed. The girl would come with her or she would be on her own. And Lorn´s little present . . . she would think about it a bit, before she handed it over.

Who had been the nightly visitor? A creature entering dreams and causing visions? And simoultaneously for different victims? This was extraordinary. This was real power. IT had been right, she wanted some of this power. All of it. She longed for it. And yet, there was something . . . desperate about it. Which made the powerful thing an only less reliable and more dangerous ally.

In thoughts she reached out with the force and follower it´s suggestions. It would lead her towards Lorn. It always had. All of her life the force had lead her to Lorn.

    Cece
    The Wreckage

As Cece finished gathering up her gear, she noticed the woman looking over at her. "I think you haven´t got the situation yet, little girl." She finally said and shaking her head. Cece bit her lip. Little girl? She kept any thoughts of a retort to herself. The woman did have a point. Wrong time to worry about such things. The strange woman continued. "Those hunters will find you, no matter how big or small your group is." Zelia took one of her lightsabers from her belt and made her way towards the exit. "The only way to survive them, is kill them before they kill you."

Cece paused a moment, as she thought of the woman's words. 'Kill them before they kill you.' Cece thought back through other situations. She wasnt a killer. Not really. She HAD killed before, when she was about to be attacked. But that was different. that was trying to stay alive, in the face of loosing your head in an instant. But to hunt..?

"Follow me and try not to make too much noise. I am not in the mood for fighting anything."

The woman's word snapped Cece out of her thoughts, and she quickly moved to follow the woman. What did she have to lose? Obviously, this woman could sense Lorn, and find him. Why coudln't Cece? And why was IT so scared of the two? Couldnt be the fancy light sticks. After all, Elois had one..and it didnt do him a bit of good. But obviously, it felt threatened by something about Force users. So that meant it had some sort of weakness. Cece sighed softly as she followed the woman, trying to move the same way as the woman moved, keeping quiet. This woman didnt look like she was afraid one bit. She looked like she enjoyed being on her own. Cece wondered if she could be like the woman. She had run into the hunters and survived. More than that, she had managed to take down a few as well. She seemed pretty strong. Is that why IT feared them? That they could not be so easily manipulated? There was no juicy prize to dangle in front of them, to try and make them do certain things? But, was that really true?

Cece changed her thoughts now. She began to stare off into the jungle, keeping as alert as she could as she tried to feel her way through the trees. Lorn was out there. And so were danger. She pulled her weapon close to her now, as she walked, making very sure to keep the strange woman in sight, and following her motions well.

    Dreams and suns

His head dipped, the child that this dream had forced him once more to be showed that sign of respect and submission to his father. They were beyond the murder of each other now it seemed, as he had no doubt that his quest if this was truly his father was now layed bare but this also meant it was destined to be a fruitless one. He also had no delusions that if his father yet lived and knew of it it would be himself that his father would cajol into deaths embrace. Then again perhaps the old man had, if dead he had no doubts that his father could still be vindictive and a 10-96 was only a step shy of a closed sentencing on himself to be delivered to death.

    "So be it. . .father."

    The Doctor
    Camp One

Waking up, he knew he would never sleep again in peace on the soil of this forlorn piece of a planet.

He sat up immediately and grabbed the gun at his side. It fell down and only now Zerr realized he had used his tentacle. Not an arm. Not the arm he had in his dreams. He had that arm no more. It had been cut off. He had the tentacle now. He grabbed his blaster with the other hand and gave his sourrounding a quick look around. Lorn was there with the dancer. She held a knife and he was armed with that look . . . that incredible dangerous look . . .

And then there was the big green one, Anora Cole and her son. The Count. His eyes returned to the son, sleeping, unaware of hte dark desire rising around them and directed at his innocent soul. The Doctor sighed and slowly raised to his feet, his eyes still on the kid. Then he turned to Lorn and the girl. "Any problem?" He asked, ready to intervene, yet unsure he wanted to.

The Joruus-thing had promised survival, yet it spread death. Had the dancer got an invitation, too? Had they all?

Trust was not an option from now on. It was not possible.

Survival. Zerr wondered how far he would go this time to assure his survival?

    Luke Skywalker
Yavin IV . .. or is it?

“Oh Han.” The thing mimicking Skywalker sighed and then another laughter burst out of it. The alugh left no doubt he ignored the words of Han entirely, instead answering directly to his thoughts. As if Han had said not a word. As if it could actually not really keep them apart, at all. “You think you are clever, but you are really not. You know? Really not. So you think I pushed the wrong button, yes? Because you don´t care for the Empire?” Luke looked at him and laughed out once more, this time it was a mocking, belittling laughter. Then the laughter died down as suddenly as it had come up. “I don´t care. You should not care either. I don´t give a damned what you care about.” He pressed those words through his teeth. “Only one thing matters, only one thing is important and you are to dumb and arrogant to see it, even if I lay it right in front of you.”

Luke came a bit closer. “You are a soldier. And soldiers kill their enemy. You are not a very motivated soldier you think?” Luke grinned. “But the other one is a soldier, too. And soldiers kill their enemy. So you think he is such a lazy little guy, too? Because if not . . . “ Luke winked at Han. Then he leaned forward a bit and whispered into Han´s ear. “You should have worried about him, because you are a soldier. And soldiers kill their enemy . . . or they get killed by the enemy.”

And Han woke up . . . almost painfully aware of the sudden absence of safety. There was a smell of blood in the air.

    Camp Two

And Meset woke up two, but he stared right at Eliza when he did. The girl stood over him, covered in blood and grinning, staring down at him. A quick survey would show it was not his blood, but it was his blaster in her hand. And a wild grin was on her face. “She killed him.” The voice of the latest addition to their group sounded weak and shocked. And a simple look to the side would show Meset the ripped apart body of the Stormtrooper. “And his guns, she got rid of all his guns!”

“Worthy sacrifices, aren´t we all?” Eliza asked grinning down on Meset.

Anora Cole, Sed Cole, Bom, Lisa, Count Elzo
    Camp One

The Count woke up and jumped to his feet, his eyes were wide open, staring at his companion. “No, Lisa, not!” He almost yelled the words out and everybody else seemed to wake up that moment. All of them shaken and horrified by their fading dreams, but all of them staring at the scene in the midst of their little Camp.
Lisa just stared at Lorn and then . . . after an eternity of silence she turned to the Doctor and allowed the dagger to slip through her fingers and fall to the ground.
The Count immediately drew his gun and looked at the others, pulling his sweaty grey hair out of his face. Anora returned the favor of pulling her gun. “Calm, Count. Calm down. You seem to have had bad dreams.” She hissed. “So did I.” Sed said and Bom nodded in agreement.

    The Alien Apes
    Jungle and Crashsite 3

The Walk was long and exhausting and while Zelia never showed a sign of weakness, the uphill path soon demanded it´s price from Cece. There was no break, nor was there any mercy, but only Zelia making her path through the jungle. Until . . . they stumbled upon the first body. A man shot in the back, a few meters away from a second and a third and then they saw it. A burned out pod, at least a dozen dead bodies and salvaged emergency packs.

They finally knew why the hunters had not come after them. They had been busy killing other people. Stepping over the victims that were left to rot next to Pod 3 they saw the precise and remorseless holes in their bodies, hinting at a master sniper. None of them had probably ever seen who or what had killed them.

    Cece
    Jungle and Crashsite 3

    Oh...Fra'Jek!'

Cece blew a stream of air from her mouth, as she struggled to keep up with the strange woman she now found herself with. Was this another bonus of using the Force? If it was, Cece sure wished it would depart some of its magic on her. The woman just kept walking and walking, following the uphill path. She didnt stop, didnt pause, didnt even look back. Meanwhile, Cece was trying her best to not sound like she was having a heart attack. She was determined not to let this woman get the best of her, but she did find herself pausing, if only for a few seconds, while she followed behind.

    POODOO!

She was concentrating so much on catching up to the strange woman, she nearly fell over, when she noticed the woman had stopped walking. Cece froze at first, wondering what had made the woman stop. Then she saw it. A man shot in the back, a few meters away from a second and a third. Cece's eyes grew wide. She turned her head to follow the trail of bodies and then she saw it. A burned out pod, at least a dozen dead bodies and salvaged emergency packs. Cece's fingers immediately gripped tighter at the blaster she held, but she bit her lip, and stayed silent.

She wondered if this was why they had not seen anything more from the hunters lately. It didnt look like something IT would do. But why? Why kill them them? Cece shivered slightly, but stayed silent, as she follow the woman's footsteps, stepping over the victims that were left to rot next to the pod. Cece saw the number 3 on the pod. Trying to take her mind off of things, she wondered how many other pods had made it down intact. As the woman walked over the bodies, Cece saw the precise holes in their bodies, hinting at a sniper. A really good one too. Probably never knew what hit em. Cece felt buffeted with different emotions. She wanted to cry, to feel sorry for them. But she coudlnt. She was angry. It was so wrong. For food packs? Or worse, for no reason whatsoever? Just because? Her head felt fuzzy. This was so wrong. She hated this place! Another reason to find the temple. To get off this cursed planet. She forgot all about being tired now. She hoped it would not be too long before they found Lorn. Cece frowned deeply, but stayed silent, as she rubbed her eyes, forcing herself to look away from the bodies. She looked up, staring into the trees for a moment. Maybe once they found Lorn, she could get another sighting, to figure out where they were...

Jungle Hilltop away from the stream of unwanted life / Campsite Two

To wake from the etherial to the horror of reality, to come from the perceptions and limitations of youth to the screeching fires of reality. That was what transpired here. He had dreamt of things past, places far, and one he now fully expected was dead about death, or rather Death. Then to wake to see the female covered in blood. For a split moment he did not know he had merely shifted from one dream to another, still training did a quick assessment as his body tensed and relaxed to perform an evaluation. One that concluded it was not his his blood she was covered in. Also biting his tongues tip proved this either not a dream and a terror of reality, or a realistic dream and a trauma of a night. Still as the swiftness of sleep had come, the site that she brandished his blaster banished it nearly as quickly.

Looking over he saw that it was the troopers blood, just as well, plastoids normally were only good as fodder and white was a horrendous color choice in anything but a snow covered landscape. The newest woman was in hesterics and the female, Eliza, stated how they were worthy sacrifices all. "Yes, but not choice and best. The woman of he that left is that. If we sacrifice, why not the best?"

ooc: Thanks to Sirak for her tremendous patience with me, and thanks to Draco and Fin for being such a help staying in contact with the game. Hopefully from now on I can manage to do so without that much assistance. Anyway, new boards seem to finally run on my network. So here I am . . .

Anora Cole - Camp One - Unknown Planet

    No. Nonono. No.

It was a mother´s instinct that made her grab her boy and pull her closer to her body. The blaster had found the hand or had it been the other way around? Anyway, she felt her finger switch it to kill and then she waved it around, pointing at nobody specifically. Like a snake looking for it´s victim. Had they all dreamt? Had Sed dreamt? If so, of what? Any why had she . . .

"I agree. Everybody calms the frak down!" Hissing out air she wondered what had happened. "What kinda dreams are we talking about, please?" She pulled herself to the feet and looked around. Lorn and the girl seemed not to kill each other for now. That was kinda good. But . . .

"What have you all dreamt about?" She asked it with her eyes on the dagger. Had the dream made the dancer kill Lorn? Had they all . . .

She looked at Bom, at Lorn and then at the Doctor. They were all formidable in their own ways. They were all dangerous. Even the count and his loveslave might be more than met the eyes. They had survived so far and that was something they could not say about all of them, right? Suddenly, they were all potential threats.

Time for regrouping. After all she had a few freinds left, too.

""WHAT the FRAK is going on here?"

    Zelia
    Camp 3 . . . or Dead Camp

Dead bodies everywhere and no reason in sight. They hd not fought or struggled, but had simply been executed from afar. Zelia stepped over another body and kin elt down, observing . . . and admiring the clear shot through the man´s chest. The plasma had probably burned heart and lungs within a microsecond and left him dead and his colleagues in panic. The work of cold hearted professionals on a killing spree. "They obviously have the order to leave no witnesses." She remarked with a sigh. Whatever they had planned, they probably would have faked some accident on the ship that killed everybody to cover up their true purpose. And being left stranded on a planet with seemingly no escape option seemed to do little to change their plans. Admirable dedication. Yet, there was something of a fool in such sigle-minded approach to survival. "At least two shooters, I´d say. They could not take them all out without anybody escaping if it was only one. I counted five of them last time I dedtected them." Zelia sighed and her lightsaber rotated in her fingers. A habit when she was thinking. Reaching out, she hoped to feel Lorn. Yet, he was so much less familiar nowadays and she . . . had changed, too.

"But they are obviously done here, they will hunt for your group now." There wasn´t really concern in her voice, she realised. she wasn´t concerned. The survival of the fittest was about hte only thing she believed in. The suvival of the fittest and the power of the force in all it´s shades and aspects. "I wonder if these guys had dreams, too." The last question was more to herself.

    Cece
    Camp 3 . . . or Dead Camp

Cece followed behind the strange woman, but stopped when the woman knelt down close to one of the bodies. Was she studying it?
The body had a horrible hole in its chest, and Cece was trying to find another place to look. She scanned the trees again, and kept a careful watch around them, as the woman seemed to be looking at something in particular. She was thankful for the small rest break, in any case.

Suddenly, the woman spoke up. "They obviously have the order to leave no witnesses." the woman remarked with a sigh. What witnesses? Cece thought to herself. She was sure most folks had no idea what had shot them down. And even if they did... who were they going to tell?! It was so, so stupid! The woman continued. "At least two shooters, I´d say. They could not take them all out without anybody escaping if it was only one. I counted five of them last time I detected them." Zelia sighed and her lightsaber rotated in her fingers. Cece wondered if that was before they had run into the hunters. They had managed to shoot one or two. Maybe a monster took one as well. The woman's next comment however, really caught her attention.

"But they are obviously done here, they will hunt for your group now." The woman said it so matter of factly. "My group..." Cece echoed softly. There wasnt a group. There was a cluster of silly adults. And there was that other group that they had found, just before she got separated. Cece really hoped that Lorn had made it, and that he was out there now. He had to be. This woman seemed so sure of it. Could she feel where Lorn was? Cece wished she had that ability. Heck, or ANY ability right now. She gave a soft sigh.

"I wonder if these guys had dreams, too.", the strange woman added, her voice much softer this time. Cece looked over at the woman, then glanced down at the bodies once more. It was a good question. She wondered if it had promised to save them. Probably not. It only seemed interested in folks with certain abilities. If nobody in their group had it, then why bother. No fun. No sport.

Cece thought of what she was told earlier. They needed to find Lorn soon. They needed to find ...
Cece shook her head. She was sure she wasnt going to sleep anytime soon. Which, after her last nap, was just fine with her.
Cece looked over at the woman. And then up the hill that they had been walking. She hoped that Lorn was close to the place she was looking for. Cece took the chance to sip a bit of water, before they started to climb once more.

    Han
    Yavin IV...and the Jungle

With a gasp, his eyes snapped open and just as quickly as he had faded from reality, he was back in the jungle. Dammit. So much for hoping for the best. It didn't help that he now had fake-Luke's words stuck in his head...literally. Whatever it was, it had a way of picking away at your mind and preying on your thoughts. And just as the dream started to fade away, it had left him with a warning concerning one of their own...or was it more of a threat?

He groaned and reached up to massage his temples. He felt a headache coming on from thinking about all this nonsense and the veiled meanings behind the words. Why couldn't it make things simple and just spell it out?

And then it did...and not in the manner that he would have imagined.

The distinct stench of blood was thick in the air and it caused Han to frown and curl up his nose in disgust. But that was nothing compared to the image of Eliza, who was now standing over a lifeless body and covered from head to toe in the red crimson. A maniacal look glinted in her eye as she trained a blaster at the Weequay and the female medic.

It didn't take an astronomical genius to figure out that the girl had murdered the trooper and mangled what was left. Was that what fake-Luke had been talking about in regards to the solider? Not like it mattered now, the guy was dead...and good riddance. But whatever they had witnessed had drove Eliza over the edge and that was a problem.

"Whoa, take it easy," he coaxed carefully, holding out his hand in a defensive gesture as he slowly approached the grotesque figure of Eliza. "You made your 'sacrifice' for the night...the guy's dead. How 'bout you come back over here and we'll sort through this mess."

It suddenly occurred to him that maybe he shouldn't be approaching this crazed woman while she held a blaster...especially since he was still unarmed. Still, she seemed to have trusted him earlier, maybe there was a chance...

"Yes, but not choice and best," the Weequay quipped, joining the conversation before Eliza could respond. "The woman of he that left is that. If we sacrifice, why not the best?"

Han stopped his approach and he turned to look at the Weequay as his shoulders slumped ever so slightly. Leatherface had a point...why hadn't he thought of that? He then remembered fake-Luke's words - she was the enemy. She had already tried to kill him and she was the sole reason they were now in this situation.

Inhaling deeply, he nodded slowly. "Or that."

ooc: Well, I know I just returned, but I could not resist . . . I am travelling again. Two weeks USA! So from Thursday on there will be another break (I really ask for patience here, I know) and then we will begin our final Episode of Season One . . . concerning other things that might happen I gladly point out my post in the DRL thread.

But on with the show . . .

    "Eliza"
    Camp Two

"Oh yes." Eliza turned her head towards Han and grinned. It was the same grin that the fake Luke had given him. Exactly the same, as if it had been transplanted from one face to another. "She would do."

And then a thundering laughter rang into the night and died down just as it began to develop. With the laughter, Eliza´s body collapsed and she fell down on Meset. The gun, their only gun now, dropped on him, too. The display showed there were four shots left in it.

"That was him, was it?" That was all Bronwyn asked. She stared at Eliza´s unconscious, blood trenched body and shook her head.

And then the silence was broken by . . . radio chatter. "767 report. 767 report back. Are you there 767?" It came from the Stromtroopers helmet laying nearby and it was a deep male voice.

    Camp Three

Zelia felt Lorn´s presence indeed. Not too far away, not too weak. No, it was rather strong and near him . . . in a proximity hard to make out . . . there was the presence. Lingering, lurking, stalking it´s prey.

But there was something else. Something that forced itself into her perception. Danger. Something dangerous and it was not a mile or two away, it was nearby. It was watching them, lurking and stalking his own prey in the shape of two women.

    Camp Three

"Lorn is nearby." She finally said and looked at the girl, probing her for a reaction.

"And he isn´t the only thing to fear." She added then. She had felt the stubborn denial of the danger Lorn was to all of them inside the girl. He had really . . . got her with his charade. But no matter what IT said or Cece thought, sooner or later they would see him as she saw him. Sooner or later the true Lorn would show. And there would be no mercy.

With a sigh she stood up from the dead body and pointed towards a direction. "He is up there somewhere, near the river on those hills you can see from here." With a smile Zelia turned to Cece and with a quick move she tossed the lightsaber from her belt to the girl. "Give him my love, will ya?" She asked the girl and nodded. "And give him that." She gave Cece a chance to look at the lightsaber. It had no ignition button, no way to use it without the force. But Lorn would know how to make it work. He had taught her that trick once, a long time ago.

Then Zelia turned around and ingited the orange blade of her lightsaber. Humming she allowed it to circle a few times, before bringing it into position in front of her body. "Mind an honest advice from one woman to another?" She asked and her eyes already looked for the challenge, for the creature that was hunting her. Had hunted her and was now her prey . . .

    Cece
    Camp Three
Cece was preparing to start walking again, when the woman suddenly spoke once more. "Lorn is nearby." Cece couldnt help it. She grinned. FINALLY! But then suddenly, the woman added something that sounded strange to Cece. "And he isn´t the only thing to fear." The smile faded. So, there was something else dangerous nearby? Why coudlnt SHE feel that?! Cece wondered. But then the woman's statement got to her. Lorn wasnt the ONLY thing to fear? She knew Lorn could be kinda scary. She saw the way he had fought. But.. no. Lorn had saved her. More than once.

As she moved, her face slipped back into a neutral look once more. She was more worried about what ELSE was out there, more than Lorn at the moment. The woman stood up and pointed towards a direction. "He is up there somewhere, near the river on those hills you can see from here." With a smile Zelia turned to Cece and with a quick move she tossed the lightsaber from her belt to the girl. Cece gracefully caught the weapon the woman had thrown and looked at it carefully. "Give him my love, will ya?" She asked the girl and nodded. "And give him that." There was nothing on the outside of the metal casing, so it looked rather plane and ordinary to her. Cece nodded, and tucked the item into the folds of her clothing, making sure it didnt fall out. At least she didnt have to worry about accidentally having it go on. Wait..did she save, give him her love? Cece gave the slightest of smiles.

Then Zelia turned around and ingited the orange blade of her lightsaber. Humming she allowed it to circle a few times, before bringing it into position in front of her body. "Mind an honest advice from one woman to another?" She asked Cece. Suddenly, Cece understood the woman's plan. She was to go on alone from here. The woman was not running from whatever it was she felt. Cece almost felt mesmerized by the blade, it took a moment for her to remember the woman asked her a question.

Cece grabbed her blaster once more, and as she looked at the woman she responded. "Sure. If you tell me your name, so I can tell Lorn." she added. If the woman was going to tell her something, then she sure as heck was going to listen. And then...

And then, she was going to run.

    Meset
    Camp Two

Looking at the girl and the wanted criminal he ignored the extra woman in their midst, she wasn't helping and so was merely a distraction in this situation. Still Eliza that was not herself seemed to agree to his words, and then suddenly collapsed upon him. Luckily she dropped his gun as well without discharging it. Picking it up he checked the charge and aimed it at the females head that rested upon him, of course then there was a voice from the stormtrooper helmet. No time to cleanly sort this out, but if shown for what she was or had been on any civilized world he could of gotten a bounty off of her head dead or alive, only here things were a little more complicated.

"Want to answer? Remove or keep?" For the first he gestured with his free hand from Solo to the helmet, with the second he wiggled the blasters point at Elizes prone form that was atop his own.

    Han
    Camp Two

    "That was him, was it?"

Han blinked and snapped his gaze away from the now lifeless form of Eliza to look at Bronwyn. He had recognized that twisted grin...that laugh. A slow nod was all he was able to manage in response to her question. What more could he say? Things were starting to get a little too strange for his liking. He wasn't qualified to deal with evil spirits who preyed on their minds through nightmares and now took a particular interest in possessing the occupants of their camp. If there was any good to come out of all this, it was the fact that they probably weren't alone in battling this thing. The others that had separated from their camp were probably in the same kind of situation.

At least, he hoped so and kept telling himself that. It wouldn't make sense to only target them, would it?

"We need to get outta here," he mumbled under his breath as he turned and ran a hand through his hair. It was at that moment that he heard the crackle from the dead body of the stormtrooper and the filtered voice that followed. It was coming from the comm unit built into the helmet. Of course! Why hadn't he thought of that before?

A dumb smirk came over his features as he sought out 'ole leather face, who was only now emerging from underneath Eliza's unconscious form. Han still didn't trust him, but at this time, he was the only one holding a blaster...

"Want to answer?" he asked in a raspy voice, indicating the stormtrooper. He shifted to readjust himself and brought around the blaster, the business end now facing Eliza. Han interpreted that action as a threat until he spoke once more. "Remove or keep?"

"No!" he blurted out a little too quickly as he raised his hand to stop the Weequay from firing the weapon. "Hold on a second, will ya?" He started to cross slowly over to the stormtrooper, keeping a careful eye on the Weequay as he moved. "We don't know what happened yet...maybe she's alright. Just keep an eye on her until I can take care of this..." Picking up the helmet with little mind to the dead trooper, he smiled with a cocky grin. "This could be our ticket outta here."

"767 report. 767 report back. Are you there..."

"I'm here. 767 reporting...for duty, sir," he replied in a professional tone, wincing slightly as he pronounced 'sir.' Why did this never come easy?

((Finally have time to post off my phone! Hope I followed the storyline well enough. :) ))

    Bronwyn
    Camp Two

    "That was him, was it?"

A chill passed over her as she slowly put the words together. The noises and vibrant colour of the world around her faded into the background, stifled by her confusion and shock. Normally this sort of sight wouldn't faze her, but this really wasn't a normal situation. The cold feeling settled deep in her chest and joined the already present mix of confusion and fear. She drew a sharp breath and pulled her eyes away from the gruesome scene.

Her eyes meeting Han's, he gave her a slow nod in response to her question.

She blinked, taking it in, before realising once again how vulnerable they all were.
Nothing seemed to make sense any longer. Her thoughts tugged at her focus, pulling her back towards the past; away from the planet, the crash, everything.
She tried to comprehend what had happened, her mind desperately grasping for a solution to snap her back to reality.

The Stormtrooper’s comm clicked on and Bronwyn quickly turned her head to look back at the dismembered body. A voice came through; echoing hauntingly in her ears.
Another person… somewhere, she thought suddenly. A tiny spark of relief flared before being smothered once again as Meset's voice brought her back to the camp.

    Remove or keep?”

She turned to look behind her, where Meset was. Eliza was motionless. Her body was collapsed onto him.
The hunter had the blaster turned towards her, and she tried to protest before Han broke in.

"No! Hold on a second, will ya?"

He cautiously took a step towards the Stormtrooper, and Bronwyn tried to watch the three of them at once.

"We don't know what happened yet...maybe she's alright. Just keep an eye on her until I can take care of this..." As he spoke he bent down and took the helmet. "This could be our ticket outta here,"

Bronwyn focussed her eyes back to Eliza’s unconscious body. The urge to go to Eliza and help her was now overwhelming. But the fear of whatever had possessed her was near paralysing…

She shook her head and took another breath, vowing to make a choice instead of just standing and watching.

As Han’s voice answering the comm floated through the air, she forced herself to take a step forward towards Eliza and Meset.

ooc: This began as a combined with Sirak to fill her vacation blank . . . and turned into a whole Camp One combined . . . which I probably kept back a little to long. Here it is. Camp One, ready for Episode´s end . . .

The Count, Lorn, The Doctor, Anora Cole
    Camp One

The Count broke the silence first, answering Anora´s demand with a coutner question. “You haven´t dreamt? We all did, I suppose. From what you guys look like I´d say you did at least.” He looked around and got a nodding reaction from a fearful Lom, who sat next to the Cole´s staring at him. Lisa gave Lorn a quick nod and then turned quickly, searching for the proximity of her companion again by sitting next to him. Even the young Sed Cole nodded in his mother´s arms. “I dreamt about my deceased wife. Only it wasn´t her, it was something else. Offering me survival and a way of this planet if I kill Lorn.” He said that without leaving a bit of a doubt he had denied the request. Lisa looked at him and nodded again. Obviously she shared the same deal. Only she had obviously not been that decisive about her answer, as her actions showed.

“I haven´t slept.” Lorn simply added and looked at the others. “Dad. I dreamt about dad.” Sed said. And he began to cry. Anora pulled him closer to herself and her eyes wandered to the Doctor.
The reptilian creature looked at the others. All of them had been asked to kill Lorn? Was it that what he wanted? Lorn dead? “ Me too. An old rival of mine appeared in my dreams and offered me my life for his.” He nodded to Lorn and then looked at the man before snapping his head to Anora. “You had no such dream? None at all?”

“Maybe I don´t recall.” Anora only said in her defense. But she felt like you did remember those dreams. “That´s the strange presence you wanred us about, is it? By the river you said something else is out there to kill us. And obviously something attacked our group mentally now, trying to make us kill you. You who is the only source of information about it we have. Is it safe to assume this is the creature?” Lorn looked at her as she addressed him and then looked into the darkness of the nightly forest. “Yes. I think it was. Whatever it is, contacting people in the sleep, simultaneously . . . it must be incredibly strong. Very powerful.” Too powerful? Lorn had killed, he remembered not every life he had taken, but what lived and breathed, what walked and crawled the universe had fallen to his blade. Yet, he had always known there were bigger fishes in the ocean of the universe. Apex predators among the stars. It was just . . . he had never encountered one. Well, one. The final one.

“Not powerful enough to do it itself.” The Doctor said and forced himself to his feet. His body was aching from the exhaustion of the day. “It did not make all these efforts if it could have killed you itself, right? Whatever it is, it has limitations.” Lorn turned to him and stepped closer. “It can´t be many.” He said and wondered how it was this man knew so many things about the force. “It is not a Jedi, Lorn.” The lizard explained. “It might have powers you do not understand and which you cannot evaluate.”
“how is it you know so much about my kind?” Lorn addressed the matter directly and the Doctor just stared at him, while answering. “I studied you.” It was left uncomfortably open if he had studied Lorn´s kind or Lorn himself. But Lorn needed no answer. He was rather certain if he asked he would only get lies and he was satisfied to get some truth out of him for now.

Anora watched the two man talk, when she suddenly realized the truth. How could she have been so blibnd. Lorn was one of the Doctor´s prisoners. He was one of them! How obvious, a 10-96 on a planet with the reptile . . . it had to be one of them. “You were frozen when you arrived here, were you?” She asked Lorn and the man turned his head. So did the Doctor.
“How do you know that?” Lorn asked. “I told her.” The Doctor quickly replied and Anora eyed him. Yes, they had something that connected them, but had they been friends? Had they been allies even? No. Why safe him? Well, because he was of use. “Well, maybe that is why he fears you. You might be immune to him, or maybe he did not plan for you to be here at all. I mean . . . if this thing is so powerful, it will barely have a problem killing you itself, will it?” The doctor stared at Lorn and finally sighed. He had given away too much, but yet he had lured them all away from a truth he was more eager to hide than the truth about himself. The truth about his dream.
“Yes. Something is there that keeps it back.” Lorn said and then he looked a last time back and forth between the woman and her child and the Doctor. Then he let a sigh out. “Pack your things, we need to move, if it´s night or not.” With a nod he knew there would be resistance, but moving was probably a chance. Such simple things like movement could make a living creature in a jungle so much harder to find. Why had IT found all of them and yet he still could not find the girl? Cece, where are you?

“Who made you Boss, anyway?” Anora Cole asked and stood up. Her authority was clearly threatened and she needed that authority, obviously. “I guess I did that myself.” Lorn simply replied. “We move and set up a camp elsewhere. And then you two will tell me a story and I will listen to it.” He hissed out the words. “If I like it or not, I swear to you I will find out what it is you are hiding.” Looking at Anora and then back at the Doctor he smirked. The doctor only stared back, but Anora obviously considered the use of force against him, so his eyes returned to hers and his head lay aside a bit, just a bit, to signal he was waiting.

A long moment passed and Anora pulled her gun back to her belt. She had nothing to win. The Doctor was the one to answer for his doings, not her. She had to save her son, make sure Solo did not escape and . . . forget.

    ooc: In before the update!

    Zelia
    Jungle . . . Camp 3

She smirked. As if Lorn would not know who send it. She turned her head half, never truly leaving her eyes or more sophisticated senses from the jungle were the beast was lurking.

"Zelia. My name is Zelia, but you can tell him his wife sends a belated wedding gift." And rotating her blade once more she laughed out in a single bitter laughter she nodded to herself. "And for the advise . . . don´t get to close to him. He kills the ones he loves, you know? It´s his nature."

And with that and unwilling to reveal anymore she stepped towards the jungle, provoking the would-be-predator. She kinda liked the girl, although she was painfully aware she simply reminded her of a much younger self. Curious, strong in the force and wishing for guidance. What a perfect breeding ground for power. Lorn might know that. She did, too. And IT, IT obviously was all too aware of it.

Power. It was all always about power. Those who had it and those who died because of their lack of it.

    Cece
    Camp Three and the Jungle

The woman gave a bit of a smirk. But her gaze was intently on the jungle in front of her. It was obvious she was waiting for something to come out of the jungle. And the half smile, was like she was GLAD for a bit of action. That was something. If nothing else, the woman was either nuts, or she was THAT sure of herself. Either way, it was powerful, She finally spoke, her eyes glued to the jungle.

"Zelia. My name is Zelia, but you can tell him his wife sends a belated wedding gift." And rotating her blade once more she laughed out in a single bitter laughter as she nodded to herself. Zelia. HIS WIFE?!! A belated wedding gift!?? Wow. That left more questions than answers, but it was obvious that the woman was not going to say more about it. Zelia. But she still had something else to say.

"And for the advise. . . don´t get too close to him. He kills the ones he loves, you know? It´s his nature."

That was not the first time she had heard that warning. Yes, he was a bit creepy, when he did the glowing eyeball trick. But he had done more for her than ANYONE else here sure had. They didnt even give a glance towards her. Zelia was still alive. And besides, She didnt think of Lorn... LIKE THAT. He was much too old for her. But still..

Cece noted that the woman now stepped towards the jungle, her weapon in front of her, weaving its deadly arc. That was her cue. The tiredness she had felt earlier was gone in a flash. She looked in the direction that Zelia had pointed out for her earlier, and then looked back at the woman one more time. She was pretty sure she would see this woman again. Without another glance back, Cece began to move up the hill. Zelia had said that Lorn was up there, near the river, on the hills in front of her. She moved as fast as she could go, the chant 'gotta find Lorn!' going through her
mind as she continued to move. She knew that whatever thing that Zelia was waiting for, was probably not too far behind, and she didnt want to be here, by herself, if Zelia was not able to stop it. But Zelia had a lightsaber now. That might help. Might not. Either way, Cece sure wasnt going to stick around to find out. She chugged up the hill, singing her new mantra in her mind as she moved up the hilly terrain. She HAD to find Lorn. And she needed to keep moving, because if he moved, she had no way to find him on her own. Unless he found her first.

Right now, she even began to miss Elois. But he had helped, in his own way. Cece would remember that. Right now, she kept moving, keeping low. Knowing that there were still hunters about, gave her motivation to keeping her head down as she ran. She needed Lorn.

    So she kept on running.

    'LORN! Where are you?!'

    'Gotta Find...gotta find'

    She ran on.
