Changing a User Name?

Apologies if this is in the wrong place. I've recently become interested in posting fiction in the Fan Fiction boards, but would prefer to do so under a different User Name; I'm willing to give up my current one to do so. Is it possible? (I've read about socks, but I gather you need different email accounts for each one?)

Unfortunately, we can't change names in the system. You can register a new name, but you will need a different email address.

Though, to be fair, it doesn't have the question about changing a username. Perhaps we should add that there.

Or maybe change the title of the Comms index to Frequntly Asked Comms Questions, or something along those lines. Keep the thread listings and add in a number of answers to some of these quick quick questions.

 

Fred, you might also want to do a quick search for the term "sock".

 

You should also get yourself on a proxy or change your ip somehow so that no one can see the connection between you and your sock. That should go in the faq too.

I wanna change my name. Now RotS has been released, my advice to the Jedi Council about how to find the Sith Lord seems a bit redundant. They didn't listen and had to wait until Palpatine actually bloody told them. Presumably they all thought he was just a clone of Sidious and Boba Fett would survive Sarlaac's digestive juices etc. Someone should've stopped them reading all that EU ****.

I was hoping to change it to ask-the-honeybadgers, which is less - wait - can we say that word that used to mean happy, and then meant homosexual, to mean 'lame and perhaps slightly effeminate?'. I guess not, but less that, anyway. I mean, I wouldn't trust honeybadgers to find a missing planet or point out a sith lord, but they're totally badass and would've ripped anakin's nads off if he tried to slaughter them.

So I'm, uh, disappointed.
