    LotR wasn't bloated. Hobbit might be, though, we'll have to see.
    He certainly won't be closer to the Hobbit book, because...ahem....most of the extra material comes from his mind, and loose adaptations of stuff Tolkien wrote.

    Thrawn was a good villain. Jedi Academy, ugh.

    But I refuse to join a food fight, anyway.

    Thrawn may have been a good idea but the writer blew it on the page.

    LOTR films had many long boring sections and were missing a great many good and important parts of the books. They should have been half as long for the content they did provide. Or edited much tighter and added more content from the novels to fill time .

    SW has been a cashcow since the empty box promo. But in relation to what I say about PJ's LOTR at least SW movies have original stories and don't bore me and leave me disapointed.

    He is donating an unspecified majority of $4.5 billion, so out of that he could still get $2 billion for himself, enough cash to make your brain melt out of your nose at the mere thought of what you could do with it.
