Colum, GA COLUMBUS EXPO - OCT 28/29

The Columbus Expo is back! Our special guest this year is Aaron Allston. It's a weekend full of gaming, comics, movies, trivia, costume contests and vendors.

Isn't it the 28th-30th? I'll be there Sat & Sun for sure.

 

Yes, it runs Friday the 28th through Sunday the 30th, but our group participation is only planned for Saturday and Sunday, and Aaron Allston is scheduled for just those days. I might stop by Friday evening after work to check it out early.

 

Aaron Allston said he had a good time at the Expo. I know I did. We made R2D2's (going to expand on this), chatted, We had several members dress in costume - they were a hit.

All and all, it went over very well. Had a great time at dinner.

Beth & Jean came from out of town and had a very good time.

We had a costume contest and a trivia contest and the kid (Cameron) won them both!

I think we actually need to part of the spooktacular next year! A booth to hand out treats, show off costumes and etc.
