Merlin concept

 

Oh Yeah!! I love this one! A great interpretation of one of the most famous of wizards (Harry Potter, move aside! ): great outfit, with the classic pointed hat and "wizardly" staff--the robes are beautiful, in color and in their movement. I really like this Mark! Lovely piece!

WOW!! I didn't know you were involved in designing statues for Marvel!! How wonderful! These look fantastic (though I have to say I think the artwork that inspired them is actually more to my tastes! )--very, very cool! I sure hope there was a generous commission in this for you, in any case! Beautiful--and you must be really pleased!

Wow, Mark! What a great update! They're all fabulous, as always--but my absolute favorite of all of these is Catwoman: what a great pose, and superb shading! That shiny costume has got to be tough, but you have it looking so real! To have her sitting as she is, with that "canary-eating grin" on her face...perfect! Is that the Dark Knight, just out of sight there...? They're all wonderful--but she's just fabulous! Great to see an update from you, and hope you had a Happy Independence Day!

I never tire of looking at your figure drawing, Mark...it's just amazing!

These are all wonderful, but my fav of them all is The Flash: just the movement in this, and all that fabulous perspective work (geez--we even see the tread on the bottom of his boot, for cryin' out loud!) make my head spin! The expressions on all of them are great, too! More great stuff!
