You could always colorize the icon.

No offense, but the colored in version isn't highly convincing. I personally don't feel it makes a good icon.

Plus, I'm that lazy.

 

Guys and gals, I actually have one more load that I had put to the side. Anyone interested? I can even post in here what the icons are if you want to see them before I load anything. Again, these were selected on their quality and originality...and "uniqueness" (word?).

G-S: I would like to see the icons then give my opinion.

 

It's a word, I believe.

I know it was an example, but it rarely works well, and would reqire a lot of time spent on a thankless job.

All VERY good!!!!!! I love the Anakin with the sky background! so it deserves to be uploaded!

 

There's nothing that I'm all hyped up about in the list (though I probably won't be since I have Dannik). I'm glad to see we're finally getting a Dash Rendar icon, though I won't change to it of course. But I say upload them, I think many of those will become popular.

 

Ah... most of those are good choices. Especially my ones...

Only a few nitpicks...

1) I'm not sure we need a "Cloaked Luke" icon since we already have this. However, if you are looking for something like it, without the hood, may I suggest this

2) I don't think that "Greeata" is up to scratch. Does anyone have another icon for her?

3) May I suggest *MY* version of the Ewokling?

Other than that they will be a great inclusion!

 

I agree with Darth_Wenley on all three issues.

 

Very good points. I will save your Luke for later and not load this cloaked Luke. Your Ewok infant is a better version. Se be it. And I will drop the Greeata.

Any other thoughts?

Not to argue, but did you guys look at Greeata in normal 50x50 form? It looks really bad stretched, but give it a chance at normal size.

If you still don't like it, that's fine with me.

 

Ok 4 new icons and I updated the Mark IV droid.

And I know the site is still not nice to look at.

Yes, I did and it still looks bad. It looks too plain and the edges seem "obscure" (not really a word to describe edges, but it was the best I could come up with).

 

I agree with wenley's points as well.

In addition, I prefer this Ruwee to the one you're planning on loading, because the top of his head seems more cleanly cut out (I don't like those grey pixels in the transparency).

 

Hmm, maybe I should wait on this upload. very good points. I wonder what others I should switch or not load.

 

If you are going to cancel some of the new icons then here are two that I just submitted right after the deadline, incase it got glanced over in all of the new icon hoopla.

Pardon me for asking, but am I allowed to request icons here? I don't know how to make them myself, and sources are hard to find.
