V.C, CA Dead Board

The weather seems to be warming now, but rather slowly. Have any of you seen the snow in the mountains to the north?

 

No snow on the montains up here in SB.

I meant the old banner is--in my opinion--better than this one.

 

What did the old banner look like?

 

I believe it was black, brown, and blue with some characters from TPM. It was one of my favorite banners, too. The current one is good, but I feel the old one was better.

 

I was working on a banner, but that was before I had the actual dimensions so it was really guesswork. I emailed all the pictures and graphics I had accumulated related to the FF to Matt, and he is working on a banner now.

 

darnkknight, unless we make our own, the banner choice is up to the "Powers that be" higher up the fan force chain, I believe. But I could ask to have it replaced.....

 

I'll ask Raven to put it back to what it was before this, until we get our own up.

 

Well he put a new one up, and it wasn't the one I asked for, but I really like this one.

At least it's not the old one.

 

An Admin has exchanged PMs with me asking for my opinion regarding banners because I tend to be vocal about my banner preferences. The Amphitheatre has one of my favorite banners...

 

I'm partial to the SW Community one myself. :~)

 

Hmmm, this is the first time I saw the Amphitheater one. I do think it would fit with our somewhat...handmaiden-ish nature.

 

I'd be willing to make one if you guys want.

I like this banner a lot better than the last one. Akumz_Razor that would be cool if you made one.

 

Yeah, we're up for anything Akumz, though I think Matt's working on one.

...That being said, go for it.

 

I'll try and get a 'rough draft' done before the next meeting. Although I'd like to discuss the banner with the group so I can get an idea of what kind of stuff to put on it.

You should try to coordinate your efforts with marmakecam at the meeting, Akumz. I sent him all the pics and stuff, so you guys can pool resources and talent.
