Vancouver DEATH OF A SITE

I see by my latest visit to the site that a couple of things are happening:

1. Victoria's site has died; and

2. there are a lot fewer people even visiting the Forums these days.

Complacency appears to have hit home. Most "troopers" are no longer interested in turning out for functions and parades---unless they figure they can get stuff for appearing, which definitely isn't at the heart of why we do it.

For anyone who happens to visit this post, please email me personally for event information. There's still a small core of us in the Victoria area who troop. On 28 Nov we will be appearing in the Sidney Sparkles Christmas lights parade. If you're interested in joining us you only need to meet up with us at 4:00 pm at the Dairy Queen (next to the Pat Bay Highway in Sidney, BC. Bring your SW costume and a string of battery-operated fairy lights w/batteries and some small alligator-style paper clips. We join the parade NLT quarter to five. The parade is approximately one hour long, very short and lots of fun.
